I can’t believe they disrespected The Wiz like this. The $17 they spent on this revival should not have gone to waste like this. They deserved at least one nomination!

I honestly could have done without the preshow. The transformation of the theatre was enough for me. They’re just hoping people will purchase those $29 cocktails.

“Book” doesn’t only refer to spoken dialogue, it includes structural aspects of the show as well.

I didn’t know a thing about Shaina when I saw the show (I didn’t even know she wrote it) and thought she was quite excellent.

I….thought this production was quite remarkable.

I didn't say it was a desolate wasteland with two people in the audience, I was simply saying anyone who missed this (and there were many who did) made a foolish decision.

You're acting like it was a sold out hit. Many people had an "it's not finished so I'm not seeing it" attitude, similar to the poster above.
