In regards to performing while sick, there's numerous regional and summer stock theaters they don't assign u/s.

 

Ages ago, I got called in for a production of A Chorus Line because the actor playing Don had a serious stomach virus. I drove 2 hours at 9am on a Thursday to do a two show day without a put-in & having (at that time) never done the role previously. Had to have a different costume because the original actor was about 6 inches shorter than me, too.

do we lock these in now?

a shame this is only playing LA & San Francisco this summer. Was hoping they'd get a few more stops announced like Seattle, San Diego and/or Portland.

Interesting thing I noticed when looking through the show's website. Their performance schedule listed on their website has a Wednesday matinee at 1pm each week. However, Seat Geek doesn't have those Wednesday matinees available for purchase. I wonder if these were just added or if it's an error by the website creator?

The original never recouped and I don't think this London production would last more than 6 months without a name. Also, I don't care to hear Cassie Levy scream this score, either.

Sounds like Papermill might have another Broadway transfer here.

The Beauty and the Beast revival is next on Disney's list. Then either Hercules or the AIDA revival. B&TB probably takes the New Amsterdam in a year or so.

THE OUTSIDERS is getting about the same reviews as WATER FOR ELEPHANTS. Hoping ILLINOISE gets better reviews.

Or, this more or less sounds like she needs a Broadway paycheck.

A Beautiful Noise had a discount code through 4/7. So it just expired. They really need to keep that discount code up through the end of their run. Probably don't make it valid for the matinees.  Their matinees are now seeing between 80-60% capacity. Some of their weeknight shows are get 30-40% only. They still have 12 weeks left, let's see if they keep their June 30 closing date.
