Now… we just need a Parade tour to be officially confirmed (have heard rumblings it is in the works fingers crossed) and every single Tony nominated Best Musical and Best Revival will be or will have (in the case of Into the Woods) going/gone on tour.

Anyone know if SRO is planning to be offered for this show? Have never been to the Hudson before and am unfamiliar if the theater has SRO capabilities. Assuming rush won’t be an option and digital lottery will be impossible to win 😅 Would love to see this show on an affordable budget! 

Heather Headley as Donna, Emily Skinner as Tanya, and Mary Testa as Rosie are my dream Dynamos.

However, Heidi Blickenstaff or Stephanie J Block as Donna would also be on my shortlist as well.

Thinking of any of them singing Winner Takes It All is my idea of vocal heaven. 😂

Apologies if this has been discussed on an older thread. I am wondering, with the launch of the new US in a few months, does anyone have any insight into if this production will be equity or non? If the production is equity, are there any insights into exciting casting rumors? Big Mamma Mia fan here and so excited to have this joyous show back on the road!

A September 8th release is rumored. So still quite a bit to go unfortunately. However, hopefully, if true, the announcement will come within the next month. 

Personally I’d love to see both Chess and Spiderwoman play their original houses, the Imperial and Broadhurst as a fun nod to their histories! Obviously the Imperial is fair game, however, with zero Tony love and tickets seemingly pretty easy to come by for Beautiful Noise, I can’t imagine it running much longer, thus leaving the Broadhurst open for Spiderwoman to make its return to its original home as well 😄

I would think the rehearsals commencing would align with Britney’s final performance in the Beetlejuice tour which she posted will be August 20th. I would sadly not expect to hear much before then, maybe even after then, as many times casting announcements align with the start of rehearsals. However, I did hear a rumor of Mary Testa being cast as Joanne which would be incredibly exciting, if true! 😁

Rumor is LCT with Tveit as Count Malcolm. 

Might be a silly question, but do they count the “Verified Resale” tickets being sold as the show not being sold out? Was checking availability on Ticketmaster to see what the odds of SRO being sold would be and noticed a few of the shows only having the “Verified Resale” seats being sold and wasn’t sure if I could count that as the show being sold out of tickets sold from the venue?

Around the 2:00 mark she does Cher and it’s simply divine. I could only imagine how she would sound singing the actual score.

Carolee Carmello. Please.

As much as SJB is one of my absolute favorite Broadway belters, as as thrilling as I know she’ll sound, I can’t help but think she still reads a tad young for Norma. Wish Carolee could have done upcoming Kennedy Center staging instead. But very much hoping a regional theater will cast her in the not so distant future.  

According to the Wicked Cast Lists Wiki (as always can be taken with a grain of salt) documenting each cast change within every production of Wicked globally (quite the impressive feat I might add) they have Alyssa Fox returning as Standby once DiNoia is finished.
