The Gilded Tony Award Winners Nov 14

So being an elder Broadway theater goer, I made a list of how many Tony Awards are represented by those folks that have been on at least one episode....I'm up to 26 Tony Awards. Has anybody else with time to spare done the math?"
This article is from season one prior to the premiere, so it omits season two newcomers like Laura Benanti, but it lists all the wins and nominations of the cast that we knew of at that point:

Here We Are is off-Broadway and, to my knowledge, does not participate in BC/EFA collections."
Correct me if I'm wrong, but shows like Little Shop and some others Off-Broadway have indeed collected in the past, so I thought I would ask, just in case.

Theater-Themed Novels Nov 13

Jen Silverman's We Play Ourselves has many great theatre-set scenes. The main character is a playwright, and though much of the book does not focus on Broadway, it's a fun and fast read.

True, I didn't remember the railing from when I sat in the center section. Updated my post to avoid confusion. Thanks!

Selling two tickets to this Wednesday matinee on November 15 at 1:00pm. The seats are on the left side, Row GG, Seats 101 and 102. Looking to recoup what I paid: $129 + $5 per ticket, so selling the two for $268. DM me if interested, thanks!

Sweeney Todd preceded Murder, She Wrote by ~4-5 years.

It is the white window card. It does not have Josh and Annaleigh on it."
Thank you!

Sondheim/Ives HERE WE ARE @ The Shed Oct 22

I saw this past Wednesday matinee and have been thinking about it ever since. I left the performance with the impression that this is a great show, but it has been growing on me more and more ever since. As with every Sondheim score, it would benefit from repeat viewings and listenings to the future cast recording to catch all of his marvelous wordplay. But even on first blush, his lyrics come across as witty and sharp as ever. The first act is incredibly brisk. The Man and the Woman's so

I haven't seen this yet, but is there any reason why Mantello and Tunick couldn't implement this while keeping with their (appropriate) goal of not altering Sondheim's score? As long as they don't change lyric

That's not at all accurate. When you slide the price selection bar all the way to the left to the $87* price point, it shows the entire left side Row P available as wel

It sounds to me like the roar of the furnace fire below the pie shop, which I know isn't present in the Prelude but that's what it struck me as immediately.

Fair point, especially for the folks who paid the highest membership fees to get those tickets on the first day and had a frustrating experience. I'm more commenting on the total lack of faith that The Shed could bring a project like this to fruition.

As someone above said, why would they hire David Zinn – two-time Tony-winning scenic designer of the visual extravaganza SpongeBob and the simple but wonderfully rich bi-level apartment of The Humans – to design a concert-style production? Sight unseen, the suggestion makes no sense.
The skepticism/pessimism about this production since its announcement at The Shed has been greatly exaggerated. From the fretting about whether the show would go on at al
