Won the lottery for last night's performance (SRO ticket). At 8:10pm, a member of the house passed me a handwritten note to move me to seat FA15 as the house lights were going down. The usher in my section did not have time to help me find this seat on the other side of the theater. Despite not getting to the upgrade, I had a fine time. The production was okay, some performances were stronger than others.
I will say the music they chose to play at the intermission/pause took me

I’m sure it’ll be an online lottery and none of those are “easy” for a show that will have the kind of buzz this one will have."
Sure, maybe easy is the wrong word but never had any issues playing everyday

I want to splurge on a March 25th ticket for myself (birthday weekend) but if they have an easy lottery, I'd rather wait. Rear mezz prices aren't horrible, though.

From NYT: Broadway Audiences Will Need Proof of Vaccination and Masks Children under 12, who cannot be vaccinated, can show a negative test to attend. But the Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall plan to bar them for now.

Just finished it as well and reading about $1M in fundraising - wow!
Admittedly, I have never seen the film so I can't comment on casting but Brady, Feldman, and Testa were great. I especially loved Testa's number, the finale and, of course, it's always a joy to see Adam Lambert anywhere. The orchestration was better than I expected and they kept so close to the spirit of original Tik Toks, that was nice.

Honestly, I have never seen the film but I am so theater starved and the cast looks great.

With everything going on, this has been an (extra) upsetting four days. May she rest in peace, may her family find comfort in her memory, and my thoughts are with her son.
It's just chilling to think of her death along with Cory's. They both brought me so much joy during my formative years (hello, high school) with the show and music that carried me through those years. That's their great legacy.
