I will never forget the house dropping to reveal the Addams Family at the end of One Normal Night
SIX (finally) headed to Broadway?  Jul 31 2019, 04:28:46 PM
Nothing official, but I saw that the popular instagram fanpage @broadway.4me posted a seeming ominous six reference
Moulin Rouge seating  Jul 1 2019, 01:58:17 PM
I snagged center front row mezz a few months ago, and based off what I’ve seen so far, it seems to have been a good decision
Least Favorite Characters  Jun 28 2019, 10:18:19 PM
Curly from Oklahoma - as much as I love the show, he is quite the awful person. He basically convinces a man that he would get the attention he deserves if he goes and hangs himself all in order to get a girl that keeps dismissing his advances. Jud is no prize pig himself, but Curly is pretty horrible

He said in a recent interview that he uses a sort of vocal trick that is fine and healthy. I don’t have the link but it’s somewhere on YouTube.
MOCKINGBIRD Understudies  Jun 16 2019, 09:52:29 PM

I saw To Kill a Mockingbird this past Saturday matinee, and I was a little bummed to see that Celia Keenan-Bolger was not on. I was very quickly reaffirmed when her understudy Baize Buzan stepped on stage. Her portrayal of Scout was one that I won’t soon forget. I was able to talk to her after the show and let her know how fantastic she was and she told me that it was her first time going on as Scout. This led to me to wonder, has Jeff Daniels or anyone else missed a performance yet?

Aren’t Gavin and Celia pretty good friends?

I think you’re right, but surprisingly enough, Celia wasn’t on for the performance that I saw. Who knows

Solution to Cell Phones on Bway  Jun 15 2019, 07:07:32 PM
It’s quite ironic that I just saw the thread. I saw the matinee of Mockingbird today, and during the conviction (no spoilers), the most dramatic part of the play someone’s phone started loudly ringing. This moment in the show was so emotional, people were sobbing, and someone’s phone filled up the ENTIRE theatre. Took me out of the moment. Just turn off your phones!
2019 Tony Awards Performances  Jun 9 2019, 10:02:57 PM
It corresponds with the whole theme of their version of the show, which I can’t really explain without spoiling, but I thought it was quite fitting
Musicals most people hated, but you liked  May 22 2019, 06:22:22 PM
Everyone seemed to bash the Donna Summer musical last season, and while it wasn’t the best, it was probably the most fun I’ve had in the theatre. I also thoroughly enjoyed last year’s Carousel revival. Set wasn’t amazing but the cast was top-notch. I also really had a great time at King Kong. Catchy songs and Kong was absolutely incredible. I’d also love to add to the Addams Family love!! I saw it twice, once with the original cast and then again with Roger Reese. A super fun show that definitel

Not particularly sure if anybody has mentioned this, but I believe that the cast recording is set to come out on June 28th, as it says so on the Amazon page for the recording: https://www.amazon.com/Oklahoma-2019-Broadway-Cast-Recording/dp/B07QMB5L5T?tag=univemuisc-central-21&ie=UTF8&linkCode=as2&ascsubtag=ffb633b622908819b14eb2cfa7e23186

Your Theatre Year In Review 2018  Jan 1 2019, 08:05:04 PM

How many shows have you seen this year?
Six, plus one national tour
Show you liked/loved the most?
Carousel, very unpopular opinion on here, but I attended the final performance and was mesmerized by Jessie Mueller and Lindsay Mendez. The emotion was real and raw and made up for the problems that have already been addressed on here
Show you liked least/hated most?
Spongebob Squarepants, heard many good things ab

CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY National Tour  Dec 10 2018, 08:25:05 PM

Recently saw the tour in Philadelphia. Although I never saw the Broadway production, I thought the tour was very well done. I know for a fact is that Mike Teavee/Mrs. Teavee's song in act one was changed. Certain parts are still the same from the original song, but it has a new name and a different melody. Willy Wonka's factory has a new exterior color. It's more of a gold color and looked very nice. Like I said the cast was strong, and Noah Weisberg was fabulous. One mishap

I have literally no idea how to upload photos on here, but her playbill is up on Playbill.com. It's in black and white. Pretty straightforward
