Broadwayworld.com has listed this reading as happening this coming weekend --- but no details.

What's the scoop? Does anyone know?

Playbill.com does say beginning Nov. 4th but even this morning, Max von Essen said the reading is next Monday, November 17th.

I was pleased to have an opportunity to speak with Anne Rice for a few minutes at her book signing on October 30th. What a lovely, gracious lady she it. Mrs. Rice will also be at the Vampire Lestat reading... next Monday, November 17th.

Wonder if a concept album will be done as was the case with "Aida" or have concept albums gone the way of the dodo bird or nickel cigar

What were dodo birds like in real life, Rox?

I don't think concept CDs are out of vogue but I'm not sure there's a real financial investment in this property yet from any producer or label. But if anyone's going to get a CD done, it's Elton John.

Wonder who will play Lestat when it reaches Broadway ? Will Wildhorn's Dracula make it first ? Time will tell

No one is interested in bringing Wildhorn's Dracula to Broadway.
