But most of them can create their own mix, turning up and down different tracks (individual instruments, instrument groups, vocals, click track, etc) to customize what they hear during the show. It's not so much about knowing the tempo and cues but really more about keeping everyone together. I think another thing to keep in mind about Lee is that she always says she writes the plays she least wants to write. That's why Songs of the Dragons Flying to Heaven is a has a stereotypical Asian title--she's leaning in to being pigeonholed and then she subverts the pigeonholing within the piece. I echo a lot of what's been said already, I'll try not to repeat too much. As someone who knew next to nothing about Cher's life going in, I had a great time. A couple Facebook friends who were at invited dress seem to have enjoyed it. Mackie's costumes are supposedly incredible, and SJB is being reported as a powerhouse, as always. But it appears to be clocking in at around 3.5-3.75 hours at this point, based on rumors and the time that these reports were posted. I wonder at what point it'll be trimmed.

Apparently the invited dress is now back on (???). This information is all coming secondhand from a friend. So who knows what's happening over there. I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes tomorrow.
