From Airport to Times Square  Oct 25 2018, 08:34:15 AM

You could do it if your plane arrived on time and you did not have checked luggage.  If you take the Air Tran and E train (at Jamaica Station) combination to Times Square it will take approximately one hour, fifteen minutes.  A little shorter or a little longer depending on the subway train.  You have to walk a good distance before you catch the AirTrain.  You would have to walk double time.  There are a couple of baggage storage companies in Times Square.  They

What is happening with this Waverly Gallery Playbill Cover??  Oct 21 2018, 12:25:56 AM

...yes? This is an entire thread hating on the Waverly Gallery playbills, but you’re stuck onmy rational comment about being thankful I received a copy with the nicest cover? If you’re trying to insinuate I see shows just to get a Playbill, that is...just plain wrong. U

FROZEN Previews  Oct 19 2018, 10:29:22 PM

Both leads seem to be out alot.  I never had a desire to see this.  If I did, seems like one or the other or both, are frequently out and I would have been disappointed.  Yes, it is live theater, but this is seems more than the norm.   I have friends seeing the show tonight.  They are big on seeing shows with the original cast. And are big seat snobs.  They have to have premium seats every show they go see. I warned them that one of the lead

Natashalost, Thanks for your updates on the show.  I have friends visiting and I think tonight was when they were seeing Frozen.

You just made me find Archuletta's debut album and I am blasting CRUSH in my ears on the bus!

I would pay for the David's reunion also.

I like Ruben and I just might check the Holiday show out

Cody Simpson to make Broadway debut in Anastasia as Dmitry  Oct 16 2018, 11:42:11 PM

He did a cd signing about 4 years ago at my friend's store.  I looked at some recent pictures of him.  He looks way older than 21 now.  Fours years ago he really did look younger than his age.  Could be some bad pictures I saw, but, to me, he could easily play 30 years old.

Cody Simpson(the Australian Justin Bieber) is joining Anastasia on broadway.  Oct 16 2018, 11:04:11 PM

As much as I can't stand Bieber, Cody Simpson would love to have a fraction of the success and popularity that he has achieved.

Laura Benanti to replace Lauren Ambrose in MY FAIR LADY  Oct 14 2018, 10:51:17 AM

natashalost said: "I feel guilty even asking this sort of question but I need to know. I splurge on tickets to see Laura in the show. She’s the sole reason I’m going — had it been someone else replacing I would have just gotten tickets to another show. However, if she’s not at the performance I attend I would be interested in exchanging/refunding my tickets so I would be able to see her in the role. I’ve never done this sort of thing before so could some

KING KONG - Previews  Oct 14 2018, 10:42:15 AM

I feel the same.  If the puppet is the only redeeming factor, then you have to worry about your view and if (like it did last week) the puppet has a malfunction.  Not worth it to me, if everything else is crap.

My Fair Lady Seating  Oct 11 2018, 03:21:26 PM

I personally would not sit that close to the stage.  The sets are gorgeous and I'm not sure if you would fully appreciate the talent put into them sitting real close. But of course sitting further away, you don't see the expressions that clearly.   When I saw the show I sat in the last row (center) of the loge and I thought I had a great view.  But that's me.  I don't feel the need of breaking the bank for tickets to sit close.

Patti's At It Again!  Oct 11 2018, 02:56:38 PM

This is the first negativeanythingwe've heard about Bette inDolly, right?"

Here's a negative story about Bette in general.  When she was nominated for "For The Boys" at the Golden Globes, she stepped right on my foot.  I looked up at her but said nothing, cause well it's Bette Midler.  She looked at me with such a nasty look on her face.  I could imagine what she wanted to say to me, but didn't.&n

Etiquette of seat-taking...?  Oct 8 2018, 09:19:35 AM

I always stand for males or females regardless of where I am sitting in the row.  I have found that courtesy is not extended by either sex.  Most don't even shift their legs to get by.  At a show last year, two guys just sat while I tried to get by.  There was limited space and I am tall.  My butt was inches from their face. I was sorry I hadn't ate beans earlier.  But that's what they get for being rude. Also to add to your list.  Women, if you

Plus it had a score by Bono and The Edge.  Sidenote:  I actually enjoyed Spiderman.

Your original post stated you "already had cheap balcony tickets".  So wouldn't you have had tickets, before "make sure I had tickets before I dragged a friend..."  I usually don't care about such things, but since I

Donna Summer RUSH  Oct 6 2018, 10:30:55 PM

When I went to pick up my tickets on a Wednesday (last week of August), I got there at 10:10am.  Both performances had alot of empty seats.  There was a couple from another country who wanted to get tickets, but didn't want to spend the amount the box office was trying to sell them.  I told the couple to ask about rush.  The box office guy at 10:14 am told them there were no rush tickets for the matinee or evening.  I found it kind of strange that they would sell

Moving Seats  Oct 6 2018, 07:44:25 PM

When I saw the show the first week in September, I had balcony seats.  I walked all the way up there to find no one there including ushers.  They had closed down the balcony, but nobody told me.  I was instructed to go to mezz where I was reassigned a second row center seat.  (It helped that I flirted).  My advice to you is not to buy an additional ticket.   (Unless it is doing better business than when I saw it).  Chances are they will relocate you, bu
