standingovation79, what gives? Why are you going out of your way on two separate Moulin Rouge threads to bash the show? I tend to agree with all the glowing reviews that have come in so far. Just because you don’t agree with Brantley doesn’t mean he has any ulterior motive. Maybe he really likes the show like many of us do. You going on endlessly about how much you dislike the show makes me think there’s something else going on here.

Glad to hear so many positive reviews coming thru now. After the first show, it seems like there was more negative than positive.

Lots of people. It was in an alley behind the theater. The line stretched half a block. Aaron and Karen came out quickly and signed and took pictures with everyone.

Agree. Everything is first rate from the sets and costumes to the choreography and cast. It makes sense for the ticket prices to be what they are. But does it make sense for the balcony to be sold out

I had a single ticket back in May that I couldn’t use and I sold it on StubHub. Yes, it’s still in high demand. If the seats are any good, you could probably get twice what you paid for them.
Interesting choice for his Broadway comeback, but I think I would prefer him in a musical. He’s too good a singer not to be singing on a Broadway stage. That also applies to Steven Pasquale.
