Whoopi really pushes 'HoH' on The View  Aug 6 2018, 02:20:56 AM
I'm one of those weird theatre goers that doesn't read reviews or need a celebrity to tell me to go see a show. If it looks interesting to me I see it. Even if it doesn't look interesting to me I will still most likely see it.

Anyone know what happened to Taylor Trensch tonight?  Aug 6 2018, 02:11:25 AM

She had left at a natural moment, but instead of stopping and announcing an understudy would be finishing the show, they just had the understudy, Nicole Lewis, who was on stage finish the show. But because of the nature of the show, they couldn’t just pretend this new person

Was chatting with someone that knows Diane Paulus and apparently she is going to keep most of the cast intact for the Broadway transfer and that includes Elizabeth Stanley.

Good Hotels near the Theatre district?  Aug 2 2018, 11:38:13 PM
I stayed at The Pod on 42nd street last time I stayed in the city. My favorite place to stay is in Long Island City at the LIC Hotel. Super nice, clean and fairly cheap.

Yep, nothing says “fun NYC vacation” like getting plastered allby yourself in your hotel room.

When I go to NYC it isn't a vacation. I'm also an introvert and not into the bar scene either so I'd rather drink in my room instead of a loud place. Also wh

Though it’s a very small feature I found myself questioning how this person was even hired to be in broadway. Moreover who agreed to let her perform. There were two bulda’s listed. I was almost embarrassed for her."

Ahhh. My bad. In the show it's one of my favorite scenes after You Oughta Know and Uninvited.

OFFICAL JVOSK BROADWAY THREAD  Jul 20 2018, 12:42:05 AM
I saw her 34 times on the tour last year and I must say next to her last there she sounds better than ever here on the Broadway. I think she is one of the best ever to play the role and I'm very happy she is at the Gershwin now.

I was there last Sunday matinee and not many came out between shows. Steven Spielberg was there though and he was backstage. I also went to the evening show and mostly everyone came out.
