We just got out of the matinee in Dallas. We all thought the show was fantastic. The actors playing the Phantom and Christine both had PHENOMENAL voices. The boy playing Gustav was super cute. The music is gorgeous. It reminded me of Sunset Boulevard.
My two teenage girls loved loved loved the show. And after the show they got programs signed by the entire cast which made the evening even more memorable for them.

For anyone who has seen the show ... what are the very best seats to sit in for Sweeney Todd? The table closest to the pie counter? The more centered middle tables? Facing the left or the right? The forward facing seats a little further back? Thank you for any insight.
We are going this Sunday evening, July 29. There are 5 of us but it is sounding like 2 of us don’t want to go, so I may have 2 extra tickets. I’m not sure yet. Please message me if you are interested in buying them at face value, if available. They are good seats. Cheers

It’s not usually too high. I sat in the front row for CATs and All The Way. It was excellent for both.
For Angels it looked high from my vantage point in about the 5th row, but others on here have said it was fine.

It is realistic - not definite, but realistic. They will tell you it is up to the show producers, put you on hold for a long period of time while they call the appropriate people, and then they will get back on the line and give you an answer. If you are allowed to switch, they will charge you for both new sets of tickets, and then once the charges have gone through, they will refund the two original sets of tickets. You won’t be able to just switch the tickets without any new charges/cancella

Three Tall Women, Bands Visit and Once On This Island.
I thought Bands Visit was good, not great. Maybe I expected too much since everyone has been praising it so much. I saw it with the guy from Oslo in the lead, maybe it comes off better with Tony Shalhoub. OOTI and Three Tall Women are both great.
The other shows you are interested in are not in the same league as these three.

Lincoln Square Steak is extremely good. It is a bit of a walk .... about 5 blocks. The owner is always there making sure everything is going smoothly and you are enjoying yourself. It has a glitzy almost cheesy Las Vegas vibe, but delicious food. They have a steakhouse menu plus an Italian section with pastas and veal / chicken parm.

I think you could do it. Come From Away gets out at 4:40. In your favor you have no bags and are tsa pre check. So you are in a cab by 4:50 and at the airport no later than 5:50. You can do it. I do this sort of thing every time I visit New York. As long as the show you choose is done by about 5 pm you should be fine.

I went to Angels after opening night and they didn’t offer anything.
We saw the show this past Saturday and we ate dinner at Gallagher’s. It is right next door to the Neil Simon. It is an expensive steakhouse. The service is always fantastic. Each table has two servers not one. And there are as many ancillary staff walking around as there are patrons. I love the swing/classic jazz music they play. The steaks are great. They come with a special in house steak sauce that is basically the best marinara I have ever had. I highly recomm
The person I was with picked up on a couple little things that bothered her that I didn’t even notice. She said that it annoyed her that a handkerchief was thrown in a trash can in Higgins’ house and it sat there in the trash can the entire show. I just saw the show on Saturday. We sat in orchestra center row E, which was just about perfect. I like to sit close for most shows. Rows B, C and D seemed like they would be ok but the stage looked really really high. I was thinking the first row would be a limited view, but I did not sit there, so maybe it looks ok if you are actually sitting there.
