Be sure to bring your ticket stub with you when you go outside. Some theatres can be pissy about letting people back in if they left their ticket at their seat.

I was also a first-time winner! Hoping for many more. The Flowers For Algernon question almost got me, but I took an "educated guess" and was pleasantly surprised.
I began going to theatre alone around the age of 14. It was never an issue, but I was mature enough at that age to handle myself and know how to behave, and I always had a way to contact my parents while I was alone.
A petition did not bring Be More Chill to Broadway. Sold out pre-broadway runs, an avid active fanbase, and producers willing to back the show are what is bringing it to Broadway. The Wild Party has none of these things. Keep dreaming.
I hate smelling food, hearing wrappers, or hearing chewing during a show. It's gross and it can wait. If you need a snack before the show or at intermission, fine. If you want a drink (without ice so that it's quieter) during the show, fine. There's no reason to hinder the experience of others.
It makes me sad that this theatre will be dark for so long.

The rights are not currently available through Samuel French. Samuel French holds the rights, but the show is not currently available for licensing. There’s a difference.
From the Samuel French website:
“This title is currently unavailable for licensing in the United States and Canada. Please contact your representative to note interest for future seasons.”
Non-equity tours typically scale back production values. In terms of talent, equity vs. non-equity doesn't mean anything. There are incredibly talented talented actors who are both in the union and not in the union, and there are horrible actors who are both in the union and not in the union. Equity vs. non-equity is not a good or fair predictor of talent.
You also see a lot less of "dance sensation" numbers, probably because Broadway shows no longer create real-world pop hits and dance crazes. The most recent one I can think of is "The Transylvania Mania" in Young Frankenstein. (The rise of social media has contributed to this too: it's much more common that a bit of choreography from the show will go viral on its own, as in the hundreds of Heathers impersonations or Firebringer "Work Song" reenactments.)<
