Just heard from a reliable source that MOULIN ROUGE will start loading into the theater some time in May, so I'm guessing it will be planning to start previews at some point during the summer. Thought I'd pass the info along.

Saw Laura last night. She was so stunning. However, I would suggest for people to maybe wait a couple weeks before going and let her warm up to the role a bit. In Act One, her accent was all over the map. It switched from cockney to Irish to (mostly) Scottish and even a bit of Spanish during one song. She just needs a little time. But other than that it was glorious. And when she comes out at the end of Act One in that dress...not even kidding - one of the most stunning things I’ve ever seen.
I so absolutely, 100% disagree with the "it's so bad it's good" statement.

Also, there were quite a few school groups there last night and the kids all seemed to absolutely love it. That made me really happy to see.

Yeah I, in no way, liked this show as much as I did because it was “so bad it’s great”. It’s not a perfect show and there’s definitely some stuff I’d change if i had any say in it, but the pros so drastically outweigh the cons that to me, it doesn’t even matter.
I loved Gettin’ the Band... Others didn’t. It takes nothing away from my enjoyment of something if others didn’t like it. I’m sure people will not like a The Prom, but I did. I’ll still like it when they come on here and say they hated it. There are people on here who think Cats is a great show. So if you need the validation of others before deciding if you want to see something, that’s on you.

Yeah, the tourists who filled the theater (and will continue to fill the theater) don’t care about reviews. They care about spectacle and the big monkey and that’s whatll keep this show running for a very long time.
It’s 2018. I’m sure they have races and are now very opinionated on their sexual identities.

Oh God, they’re gonna need people like Lady Gaga or Jesus Christ to perform at the Tonys this year if they expect anyone to tune in.
Besides the puppet, everything else is just so boring. It’s not a <<edited by BWW staff>> like BKLYN or SPIDER-MAN. It’s worse than that because it’s all just so unnecessary.

I don’t even know how to review this show. The puppetry is fantastic. The staging with the ship was impressive and Kong running through the streets was pretty awesome. Other than that it was...fine...?
I’ll never have a need to listen to any of the music again or think “Man, I want to see how King Kong is doing, I should get a ticket and go again”. My friend and I were also confused at the casting and were like “These were the best people that auditioned?”

It has monetary value if someone wants to purchase it. An unused ticket that can, at some point, be used for admission to the show does have a value to it and if someone wants to purchase it there’s nothjng wrong with that.
