For what it's worth, I saw an Instagram post the other day where someone got a rear orchestra rush ticket for $69 for the Saturday matinee. I haven't tried it myself, though.

I went on Wednesday July 4th and all four leads came out and signed and took pictures. Diana Rigg didn't go all the way down the line, so if you want her you kinda have to go up to her. Lauren Ambrose came out around 11:45 that night and she was very nice.

While I don't think it's necessarily told from a particular point of view, maybe they should diversify the casting of the adults as usually they are played by Caucasian actors. That way there could be a sense of unbias between the adults and kids.

This definitely seems very exciting to me! While West Side Story is commonly produced, Ivo Van Hove is an excellent director who's done a great job with both plays and musicals (Lazarus was so enriching and well directed), and I think this concept if done properly will strike a cord with audiences across several generations.

Usually the people surrounding me are very nice, occasionally I'll hear people say something that'll make me roll my eyes. I can't believe how disrespectful that person was to Lin, even if you're not a fan of his work, why say anything at all? Some people are just bitter and nasty unfortunately.

I took advantage of the $72 offer, and a lot of people who I passed by seemed like they did as well. I got three excellent center orchestra seats, and the show was phenomenal. All the principals were in and all of rich voice and brilliant command. I was particularly impressed with Paton (his acting choices were incredible) and Butz, who brought down the house with Get Me to the Church On Time. Seeing the show on Wednesday night, looking to see everyone! I think an alternate will help Ambrose's attendance in the long run (even though I don't think she's called out much since those consecutive May absences). I hope Norbert Leo Butz will be back in the show on Wednesday, he's an amazing actor and his Tony performance was excellent.
July 1st was always the closing date. It couldn't extend since Denzel has to do press for Equalizer 2 now. Such a brilliant production, very glad that I saw it!

I don't think age is a big problem for Tewfiq, since it is partly his maturity and life experience that draws him to her. She even sings about her unexpected and almost confused attraction in Something Different where she sings "those are not young hands."

Even though the cast is great, I believe there will be discounts. Even though the combination of the three may prove to sell out, Daniel Radcliffe didn't sell out Cripple of Inishmaan and there were plenty of discounts available. And outside of a few exceptions (Three Tall Women), straight plays haven't been selling out lately. Even Denzel Washington didn't sell out Iceman Cometh, whereas four years ago you couldn't get a ticket at all to Raisin in the Sun.

That seat will offer a perfect view! I sat in Row J Seat 31 and it was excellent. The cast usually has very good attendance, but anything can always change with live theatre!

The Price last year was a fairly starry production with Mark Ruffalo, Danny DeVito, and Tony Shalhoub all worthy above the title names.

Orchestra may be ideal, but I sat in the Front Mezzanine and thought it was a perfect view. The rear Mezzanine may be a little far back, but you certainly have nothing to worry about if you're in the front Mezzanine.

I would also totally recommend Orchestra Row J. I sat Seat 31 last week (all the way on the side) and the view was still perfect, full view, and with very little obstructions (the most I missed was a person standing and talking on a staircase for literally 30 seconds in Part One). I think Orchestra is the best view for this show, because the Dress Circle and Balcony looked too far away compared to usual theatres.

I saw the show last Sunday and had a very good stage door experience. The show let out around 10:15 and pretty much everyone came out, signed, and took pictures. I had to leave around 10:55 so I'm not sure if Jamie, Alex, or Poppy came out (Jamie very well could have because the barricades were still up), but most of the principals (Noma, Paul, Anthony, Sam) all came out and were very friendly and gracious. Some of the cast even asked where we were from and really were interested in conversing w
