I think people are discussing it because he made a public statement. If they had just left, no one would have known, and there’d be no discussion. Making a public statement like that invites commentary, good and bad.

I’m more interested in the fact that he says Tommy Tune wants to direct and choreograph a revival of Grand Hotel.
I could see it going to a non-profit somewhere in the city, but I don’t think we’ll ever see a commercial revival of the show unless Beyoncé decides she wants to play Caroline.

Anyone who knows even the littlest bit about the Harry Potter Universe (i.e. they’ve watched the films) would probably be able to surmise that Godric Hollow would factor into the story at some point. It’s a fairly significant location.

It really depends on if the “sassy gay” stereotype is your thing. I’m not a fan- don’t come up to my table to take drink orders and say “what are you bitches drinking?!”- but if you like that sort of thing you’ll enjoy this place. I have nothing against it, it’s just not for me.

Don’t forget his “tweet seats” at Godspell, where he encouraged audience members to tweet about the show...during the performance. I think the pushback on that was so intense that it never happened, but it was definitely announced.
