I was always in the ensemble, never a soloist. I was a waiter/usher/sold sheet music/extra on TV shows and movies/modeled/wardrobe[couldn't sew]dresser/unmentionable/ensemble again then repeated the process until no more.

This role is a natural for Hugh. Right age, roughness of voice, personality to charm everybody, a winning way with kids, still handsome and romantic to win over Marion and her Mum.
Every tune is a winner, some delicious characters, powerhouse dancing ensemble and Tommy and mayors daughter, great frivilious[?] costumes with a simple, feel good story.

This will be more art-house selected audience and not cineplex fodder but then Into the Woods had a good run--much more difficult to sit through than SB.

I havn't read where 'blocking' came into this thread but isn't blocking putting the cast in place for lighting/sets without doing the full routines etc. More for the tech crew than performance.

I use my TV for Netflix and DVDs so the commercials came quite as a shock. This program should have been bought by the ABC as the commercials totally ruined the seriousness of the subject.
One minute listening to that horror the next whirling around in a fancy car, slutty looking models lounging all over lounges and cartoons sprouting about something orange, then back to the unspeakable horrors.
I gave up after 90mins. due to the annoying commercials, even on mute. I will hopefully buy it if released.
So many questions that might have been answered had a lingered longer. Where was the staff, were the boys ever there together or meet as it felt like the same story but in 2 different life times.

We have a black and white SB, a fictitious tale of a career gone bust. There is a technicolor stage version recreating the B&W film.
As I previously mentioned, in the original film, all the actors appeared 'ageless', due to the format and the formality of the acting and their clothing.
The stage it is easier to overlook an actor who is numerically too old for the part as there are no close-ups and surgery helps.
That poor man/boy obviously had severe mental issues but because he was that deranged family's cash cow, they were NEVER going to do anything about it--at least publicly.
Neverland was his fantasyland where he recreated a lost/never experienced childhood so it's no wonder his sexual outlets were with minors as I am sure that is where his mental age remained, and not with adults.
