2019-2020 Touring Season  Mar 15 2019, 10:56:04 AM

Just got a look-see at the season for Charlotte (officially announcing on Sunday) and it's a packed house for sure (16 shows)! Like Chicago, they're announcing shows into 2021 but they're still being advertised as being part of the 19/20 season. Unlike Chicago, Charlotte's probably doing this because of the new PAC in Greensboro opening up, and they're announcing their (inaugural) 20/21 season on April 12 with "Wicked" being part of that season (hi

There was also a tease for the announcement that said something like "the princesses in your family will be excited" so I'm assuming that's going to be Anastasia or Frozen."

Although I can't divulge the season until 7 tonight, I can confirm that Mea

2019-2020 Touring Season  Mar 11 2019, 08:10:30 AM

Boston's the only one I don't have a time for. They made it sound like it would be an all-day event on social media. The other reveal times for today should be...

10 AM EST: Detroit

Noon EST: Seattle's 5th Ave

7:30 PM EST: Pittsburgh, Appleton

8 PM EST: Fayetteville, Tempe

2019-2020 Touring Season  Mar 10 2019, 05:44:45 PM

This week's season announcements include...

Monday: Appleton/Fox Cities, Boston, Fayetteville, Tempe, Seattle (5th Ave), Pittsburgh, and Detroit

2019-2020 Touring Season  Mar 7 2019, 10:07:01 PM

Boston's part of the upcoming Monday Mania on March 11th. Also included (at least): Pittsburgh, Tempe, Appleton, Seattle's 5th Ave, and Fayetteville. (For those using the sheets from post #1, please be patient! It'll be updated as quickly as possible!)

2019-2020 Touring Season  Mar 7 2019, 09:34:18 PM

My rep at the Benedum in Pittsburgh has intimated that Hamilton will be coming back there. I'm not sure if it's next season or the one after, but at least it's confirmed to be returning. All will be revealed on Monday.

2019-2020 Touring Season  Mar 4 2019, 05:37:56 PM

Additional shows at Denver: Phantom, JCS, Grinch, Rent, Lion King, and BOM. (Don't know if Blue Man Group qualifies, but it's also playing.)

FYI: Denver's season marks the 50th one announced for the year. (Only like 250 more to go!)

As for Phantom's tour, I noticed today that there haven't been any US stops announced past 2019. I know it's still early, but I could see it ending after the stop in Toronto.

2019-2020 Touring Season  Mar 4 2019, 10:41:47 AM

Others probably know more than I do, but here's what I've got...

Monday (today): Denver, Schenectady, Sarasota

Tuesday: Houston, Little Rock

Saturday: El Paso

*St. Louis may also be in the mix late this week.

Next Monday (March 11) is going to be fun! So far I've got: Tempe, Appleton, Boston, Seattle's 5th Ave, and Fayetteville

Jeffrey Karasarides said: "The Durham Performing Arts Center hasn't announced their 2019-20 season yet, though they did just announce that the national tour ofAladdin will be coming from October 2nd-26th."

True! And tickets are going on sale on March 7th, which leads me to believe they will have announced the rest of their season by then.

-On another note, Birmingham, AL is announcing their season shortly and it'll include OOTI (Dec 13-15

2019-2020 Touring Season  Feb 19 2019, 05:24:38 PM

A rep at the SHN told me that they plan on making an announcement date this week. The plan is to announce either the last week of March or first week of April. They're still finalizing all of the details. Their season will have 5 shows and two have already been revealed (The Band's Visit and Mean Girls).

2019-2020 Touring Season  Feb 14 2019, 02:19:26 PM

I'm sorry! I should have included the message direct from the release...

"CHICAGO (February 14, 2019) –The Michael Jackson Estate and Columbia Live Stage announced today that the new musical Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough will now have its world premiere on Broadway, when it opens in Summer of 2020, foregoing it’s pre-Broadway engagement

2019-2020 Touring Season  Feb 14 2019, 01:22:39 PM

Just read the presser that the Don't Stop first national tour will launch from Chicago--I'm assuming sometime in 2021.

2019-2020 Touring Season  Feb 14 2019, 10:05:41 AM

Sorry! Meant to say the Orpheum in Phoenix! Tempe's not announcing until March 11th.

2019-2020 Touring Season  Feb 14 2019, 09:58:19 AM

Phoenix's 2019/2020 season: Bandstand (Dec 6-8), Finding Neverland (Jan 10-12), SpongeBob (Jan 31-Feb 2), and The Illusionists (Mar 27-29). The ATG venues that have announced so far have been telling me that there will be a season add-on/swap announced later.
