This is why I like seeing a show twice. The first time, I go in blind. Then I read about the show online and listed to the music, and then I see it again with that knowledge.
I've done it a bunch of times. I found The Shubert to be the most difficult view, as the ledge was tall (and I'm short), so I couldn't really see. This was during Spamalot, and I don't remember if there have been any renovations in the past decade, so it might be different.

im honestly not trying to stir the pot, but i've always wondered:if you feel that way about trans not being played by cis actors... does that mean that trans actors shouldn't play the role, if its written as a cis character?
My friends and I were talking about how we think Significant Other would work well as a movie. It would obviously have to be re-written as a screenplay, but I think Joshua Harmon's contemporary dialogue and storytelling would lend itself well to film. I doubt this would happen, but I think it would work well as one of the indie gay rom-coms/dramedies that often appear in the festival circuit and/or end up on Netflix. From what I recall, the Public production was very smooth behind the scenes. I actually worked at The Public at the time, and while I wasn't involved in the show (I was on another show), I don't remember hearing drama. What changed with the transfer?

I was able to get tickets! It’s tedious to refresh the page every minute for over half an hour, but in this case, it worked.
