So when should we expect an OOTI closing announcement if this play preview in March? If it closed in January when Hailey leaves, will that give the theatre enough time to make changes?

Most of tonight's comments from Christy's instagram live are: why is Zach leaving, Cody who?, Cody will fail, or what are your thoughts/feelings about this.
I didnt take notice to see if any of the girls are reading the comments.
I'm starting to feel bad for the guy. Literally everyone thinks hes going fail. I mean, maybe he will but give him a chance first.

While we're at it, lets talk about the rumor going around that Christy was leaving in Feb/March.
If he's only there for 11 weeks (so that is Feb sometime), and the rumor that Christy is leaving in Feb, do we think the show might be closing? Could bringing him in for these 11 weeks be the deciding factor for if the show stays open or closes?

Another vote for Once On This Island. I love Anastasia but I do get bored. OOTI is only 90 min and wont disappoint.

Answer to my own question- she started today's matinee but left mid-performance. Courtnee Carter went on for her and she's going on for tonight's evening show.
I hope whatever is going on with Hailey she gets some rest and feeks better soon!

Her understudies have been nothing but amazing! Im happy to see them! Id love to see Hailey once before she leaves in January but if I don't, thats ok! I lost something at the theatre and they recovered it after I got on my train home so I'll be back next weekend!

Ive seen it twice now that shes back. One Sunday matinee and today. Her understudies were on both times. Just curious if she only does evenings or Ive just been unlucky and picking days shes not there. I'm 0/3 now (Loren Lott was in the first time but Hailey was out on injury)

I bet it’s closing before May. When I bought tickets at the box office on goat give away day for May the lady said “can I have a phone number for contact just in case of... scheduling issues.”
Does anyone know or has anyone heard if Merle Dandridge is coming back to OOTI while Tamyra Gray is home/vacation?? I love Tamyra Gray's Papa Ge but I'd loooooove to see Merle Dandridge's Papa Ge. She's been doing a lot of videos and things with the OOTI cast. Recently, she did Why We Tell the Story and Human Heart, both had the three Little Ti Moune so its not like these two videos are old and they're just being posted now. Unless you have a group of people, your seat that you paid for is your space. And that space doesn’t slowly work it’s way into the seats next to you.
Let’s talk about the cost issue. We saw Hamilton in January. It was cold and we all had coats. Now coming from Philly, I get the folding the coat on your lap and keeping it there. However, the family from Hawaii didn’t understand that. The adult woman next to me (and she had to be in her 50s) her coat on my lap half the show. I don’t know

I personally like to go into a show knowing nothing so I don’t want to expect anything. I don’t listen to the cast recording and I don’t watch anything on YouTube. I did this for Anastasia when I saw the Broadway production and it worked great. I’ve seen the Broadway cast twice now and seeing it again twice next year, and the tour cast once when it comes to Philly.
I would wait and listen to the cast recording until after seeing the tour. Same with the movie. Don’t want the movie until

We have a Thanksgiving Day Parade hosted by ABC in Philly. I’m not sure if that’s broadcast all over the US but maybe that’s where Frozen will perform?
I was thinking about this today. Who do you think gets to perform this year? Last year we had 4: Anastasia, Once On This Island, Spongebob, and Dear Evan Hansen.
