According to Instagram there’s a new number being added to the second act tonight. It appears to be an ensemble number.

To add to my thoughts earlier; This show is really special and the meaning and hear is so genuine. I haven’t felt this way after a show in a while. It’s certainly an old fashioned musical (which some occasionally modern music) and while the score isn’t the best I’ve heard it’s definitely still got some fine moments. Casey did a fantastic job with the choreography but I don’t know if it’s as good as what he did with Mean Girls. The show is genuinely very funny. It’s smart and

I loved this show tonight. I was skeptical but my god did I fall in love. I think it’ll get compared to Mean Girls a lot and while I did think the score for MG was slightly stronger this show has ten times as much heart and dare I say even funnier. Beth Leavel is a shoe in for a tony nom. I was almost in tears during ‘Unruly Heart’ and I seriously hope this show gets the chance it deserves. This is definitely my favourite show in a while.

My intent was to (honestly) show that you are a kind person. But you're right in calling me out. I obviously didn't think it thro

While the house appeared to be 95% full at the start of the show, towards the end I noticed a good handful of people had walked out.
Don’t go into this show expecting a great musical but do expect a fun, enterta

I must say I really did enjoy this show last night. Had there not been a technical glitch I would have liked it even more but that 30 (ish) minute break really threw me off and I sorta felt uneasy for much of the performance after that.
The leads are fantastic and really giving it there all. Some of the songs are nice but generally the score is serviceable.
The set design is very impressive as is the lighting.

40 minutes into the show. Performance has been stalled due to technical difficulties. Just before Kongs entrance (I presume)
So far, I shouldn’t love this show but I sorta am.... some issues with sound and score is serviceable but production wise I love it.

I believe the far right of row J! He actually said I could sit in whichever row to the sides but I figured it’d be best to be around the middle of the orchestra

I managed to get 3 rush tickets this morning. $49 each. I didn’t think I’d get 3 as generally it’s 2 per person but the man in the box office was a gent and said it’s totally cool.
Anyways, I’m excited to see the show. I’m not expecting a good musical but I am expecting an entertaining night (for the puppet alone)

I’ve a feeling that with HOH because the Hudson currently isn’t in high demand (A friend told me Dreamgirls was facing a lot of difficulty with its transfer) that they may be getting rent a little cheaper...
I rushed this show on Tuesday. I arrived at the theatre for 9:50 and I got a second row seat on the far left. "Partial View" but honestly I missed very little of the show. The man next to me told me he got his rush ticket around 3pm that day. But by the time the box office opened, there were about 15 people there.

Is Courtney Reed still with the touring production? When I saw the show two years ago she was the weakest link... her voice was not holding up at all. I understand actors are humans also but if you have a paying audience, do not put on an actress who is struggling consistently throughout the show to hit her notes.
Bad or odd set designs Sep 2

I never understood the Finding Neverland set. Honestly I thought it was hideous. The Pretty Woman set is also quite disappointing. This may also be controversial but excluding a beautiful proscenium, I felt like the set for Spongebob was only ever ‘70%’ of the way there... it just lacked something.

While I think this show would be welcomed on Broadway this or next season as it really is a fresh, enjoyable production, I just feel it could struggle on Broadway unless it was put into a small theatre (Jacobs, Booth, Cort) as it really isn’t a big production.
Mean Girls In Person Lottery Aug 27

Ive managed to win the lotto both times I went and both times my name was last called. But with that said, there was huge crowds at both lottos and I just got very lucky.
I saw the show twice in July and both times Barrett wasn't on but her understudies were both equally fantastic. I did prefer Tee Boyich over Gianna Yannelli but they could equally hold their own. As with the rest of the cast, they were collectively amazing. I think this is my favourite cast currently on Broadway.
For what it's worth, I saw Taylor in the show a few weeks back and truthfully his voice at that particular performance wasn't up to scratch. His voice broke on the higher notes which was particularly disappointing after paying so much for our tickets. I understand actors are people too and they have their off days but it just seemed as though he shouldn't have been on at all that evening.
I won the lotto yesterday (well I won by default as they had 50 lotto tickets available which covered the entire crowd) and I thoroughly loved this show. It's really quite beautiful and the staging is very clever. The theatre was about 90% full which was disappointing to see as the show deserves a long run but I'm happy I got the chance to see it. Loren was on and she was fantastic, truly couldn't fault her. Alex killed his performance of 'Mama Will Provide' and there'

I purchased SRO last week. They’d 8 spots available. Cancellation line was long but not everyone was looking for SRO.
