I'm a fan of this show as well - I saw it in DC last year (with Jimmy Mavrokes - he's in the OKC production) and am traveling to Connecticut to see it again :)
If you can't get to LA or OKC, do a Google search to see where else it is playing! If you are interested in the Connecticut show, it's running at TheaterWorks (Hartford) http://www.theaterworkshartford.org/ from Marc 22 to April 28.

Why are you apologizing? Your opinion is your opinion. Just as mine is :) There's no wrong or right. I had a great time, you did not. Both valid experiences. That's the beauty of theatre. I once talked to someone that hated DEH - she though Evan was a sociopath.

I went to the Wednesday matinee and was messaging by 4:40p (pretty much right after curtain call). The show was a lot of fun!

Also remember that each person can get 2 tickets, so you don't all need to be in the same line at the same time. Half of you (in case you're more than 2 ppl) can go to 1 line and half can go to the other :)
I was at the first preview as well and pretty much agree with JBroadway's assessment. The twist is WAY OUT THERE (at least IMO). With such a weird start, I never bought in to the rest of the storyline. There is also a LOT going on (e.g. personal issues) with each character - so much so that we don't get a deep look at anyone in particular.

Ouch, you're going to BV after BMC? Personally, I'd reverse the order. If you must go to BV, go to the matinee so you can get rid of that depressed feeling with BMC in the evening (can you tell I'm not a fan of BV?). From what I've seen, single seats are easy to get

Walked by and grabbed a rush ticket ($40) at 12:45p for the matinee. Orch C4! Board doesn’t show Troy as being in (yet). Agent said allrish was going to be full view, but couldn’t say where as “the computer picks the seat”.
Got an Orch seat vía Audience Rewards for 3/5 but something came up. $48. Seat is in Row R close to aisle. I’m in Manhattan and can meet up almost any time. I have the ticket in hand. Please PM for quickest response.

I caught the Saturday matinee (it was press show as well) and had a great time! I'm impressed with the set quality for such a small theatre.
It's a super fun show - I'd say a mashup of Bring It On / Heathers / I Know What You Did Last Summer with a hint of The Wolves.
