Touring Miss Saigon In San Francisco  Oct 12 2018, 11:02:00 AM
Does anyone have any word on rush for this show? Or how it usually is for shows at this theater?

Mean Girls Fan Day Performance  Oct 4 2018, 02:54:05 PM
Are we really going to descend into chaos on another mean girls fanday thread? Some of us just want reports on how it was!

Unaccompanied minors  Sep 12 2018, 11:46:08 PM
I’m 16 but I look about 14 and have never been questioned or stopped. If anything ushers have been nicer to me... 7 and 12 might be too young though. You can always call the theater and ask before hand.

re: Going to the stage door, and not seeing the show.  Sep 12 2018, 12:56:50 AM
It gets creepy when people start saying they’re “friends” with the actor after having met them at the stagedoor a bunch... unless you’ve met this person in a non stage door setting and talked to them for a while (mutual friends or something) you can’t consider yourself a “friend”.

“Oh I’ve stagedoored like 6 times me and (insert kind actor/actress here) are friends!”

You’re not. It’s creepy.

Unaccompanied minors  Sep 12 2018, 12:52:24 AM
My friends and I started rushing together without adults at 14. To be fair we were a little obnoxious at first but no one tried to stop us from getting in. We even saw the Book of Mormon which is pretty explicit and no one stopped us.

From Broadway Reddit: Be more chill  Sep 12 2018, 12:48:57 AM
This is obviously awful but I don’t think it was right of him to post the person’s phone number. They’re likely young and are dumb and totally out of line but as the adult he could’ve made a statement and not shown the number.

DEH Stage Door  Sep 11 2018, 12:23:37 AM
How old are they? That really makes a difference on if you should bring them. I saw DEH and a group of 12 year olds were there and they started chanting “Jared! Jared!” I know they’re young but it was pretty bad and their teacher didn’t stop them.

I think bringing them is fine but please explain how to be respectful before hand!!

The stagedoor is usually about 2 or 3 layers and from near the Music Box enterence to the enterence to the imperial.

They won’t all get their

re: Going to the stage door, and not seeing the show.  Sep 11 2018, 12:17:06 AM
I think it’s fine but it would be nice if at the stage door people who just saw the show had priority. I saw the final Great Comet performance and I RAN out the door and there was no space at all. I had to slowly make my way to the barraciade by ducking and somehow convincing some dad to let me switch places with him. I still had to raise my stuff over peoples heads to get it signed.

Most of these people hadn’t even seen the show that day!! Or ever for some!! That was annoying. Stagedoo

BE MORE CHILL to open at the Lyceum in February 2019  Sep 11 2018, 12:06:41 AM
About 5 years ago I went through a “Stan” like stage however it was with a boyband so much less reachable than broadway stars. (I couldn’t talk to them in person or email them or have any contact with them)

When I was a “stan” I and the other arounds me were crazy. For many teens it’s the first time they find something they’re interested in and they become obsessed. Not sure if this is true for BMC but people shipped these two band members and were CONSTANTLY trying to prove they were t

Evan Hansen SRO tickets  Sep 10 2018, 05:26:24 PM
As for the content of the show and whether it’s appropriate, it includes the following:

-Cursing
-Sexual references (to be fair those may fly over his head)
-A plot line that may be confusing/innaporiate to someone that young (it’s about anexity + suicide and such.)

You know your kids best but those are some things to consider.

Evan Hansen SRO tickets  Sep 9 2018, 11:16:01 PM
They do have things for you to stand on if you’re short but I would still not bring a 7 year old they won’t understand what’s going on and will likely get tired from standing for 2 1/2 hours

Late Seating? Should it be allowed?  Sep 8 2018, 07:17:45 PM
People will be distracted for a minute at most. That’s not very long and things happen. Let the late person see the show and not have wasted their time and money because of an accident simply because you can’t be sucked out of the experience for a moment when the lights are out. It’s not a big ask.

Spotting Celebrities at Shows  Sep 7 2018, 01:15:36 PM

Why odd? I'm sure he was visiting backstage --- and that's the way out!
"

I meant odd if he was trying to avoid being noticed.

Last year I saw Andrew Rannells at Bandstand. He actually left through the stage door which seems odd but what do I know.

Be More Chill Coming to Broadway?!  Sep 5 2018, 10:20:20 AM
I’m now even more concerned about the stage door. The Lyceum has the worse stage door ever (you have to go around the block to another street and it’s in front of a bunch of restaurants.) I’m genuinely wondering how they’re gonna try to work this out.

BE MORE CHILL to open at the Lyceum in February 2019  Sep 5 2018, 10:16:25 AM
I really hope they get an actual ensemble now. It was confusing with having everyone switch characters and now that they’re on broadway it would look bad to have the principle roles also be ensemble.

Be More Chill Coming to Broadway?!  Sep 5 2018, 12:19:42 AM
It is honestly a little cruel to taunt the fans acting like it’ll be announced at this time and then not... like they know their audience is obsessed teens why do this?

Be More Chill Coming to Broadway?!  Sep 5 2018, 12:05:23 AM
If (when) this does transfer to broadway I wonder if they’ll do rush/standing room or if it’ll be too dangerous? (Young people camping out over night) Thoughts anyone?

Betsy Wolfe Tweet - Working on Something  Aug 29 2018, 10:54:00 AM
Maybe it’s west end waitress?

Be More Chill Coming to Broadway?!  Aug 28 2018, 11:17:30 PM
If this somehow appeals to a larger base (shapes up for broadway and gets raves reviews) it could be a hit. I’m very curious to see how this plays out as it could say a lot about broadway’s future.
