For those who went to see SUMMER, what kind of merchandise they have. Search engines have helped me to no avail so I was hoping the hivemind could help since my friend I'm going with wants to buy a ton of stuff.
I doubt that anyone would intentionally take off during a busy holiday week(end?) unless they had a prior engagement and it was announced in advance. If they are out, it would probably be illness
The run is only 15 weeks long, which isn't that much of a commitment on Broadway these days. If it was an open run, I could see people taking vacations and the like.

Tammy was out for me tonight too, but it didn’t affect the show one bit. Hope she’s okay.
I was not entirely familiar with the play so I found it a bit long and slow-burning at times, but ultimately satisfying and enjoyable for what I paid. I honestly think David Morse is the real star of this production (with Austin Butler a close second) since I could not keep my eyes off of him. Denzel was fine, but not Earth-shattering. He did his Denzel thing and the audience ate it up. Maybe I wou

Correct.

It's been awesome that Parsons has been able to commit to doing any Broadway at all considered he's the lead on a popular, long-running television show, especially challenging (The Normal Heart, The Boys In The Band) or obscure (Harvey) shows that wouldn't necessarily be the top of a vi

I'm not sure how often it has happened before, butRaúl Esparza was nominated in 2007, 2008, and 2009."
Thanks! I figured there was someone and was a little too lazy to do the research lol."

The Bag (TM) will always belong to Jan Maxwell. May she rest in peace. #BetYourAss
For those who are perplexed by the off-kilter nods for Leading Actor - Musical, they've had other lean years before. The last I can remember is the 2011 Tony Awards when the lean category was Leading Actress - Musical, where there were only 6 possible nominees, and the two leads that were shut out that year were Sherie Rene Scott for WOMEN ON THE VERGE and Janet Dacal for WONDERLAND.
The last time any acting category had 6 nominees was 2015, with Featured Actor - Play
I found Michael Urie to be really an inspired choice for Bud Frump at the time, since it wasn't that much of a stretch from the sassy brown-noser he played on Ugly Betty (which I loved). Overall, I very much enjoyed his performance, especially how he essentially slithered through "Coffee Break".
I'm selling Playbills again to clear stuff out and I have some opening night, hard-to-find, and color editions for sale, including EVITA (2012), NEWSIES (OBC - 2012), and WAITRESS (2016 - OBC).
