The Drowsy Chaperone Vocal/Piano Score  Aug 7 2006, 02:59:21 PM
Does anyone know when this will come out? Or, more practically, where I might buy it?
Thanks a bundle
your old pal CE1

re: Wierd Question... Idina's Rent tatoo?  Dec 23 2005, 01:43:16 AM
Oh for---this is why I stopped posting people.
this is rediculous
try Google Images

but don't search Idina Menzel

try searching Fake movie tattoos or movie make-up, fake Tattoos.
think outside the box
you'll find it

re: worst performance by performers at the Tony's  Dec 23 2005, 01:29:42 AM
Aretha franklin deffinatly like what? fifthed? I agree, anyways.
spamalot was also not that great--they should have done a funnier number..in the context of the tonys, I remember not alot of people were laughing at all.
what else?
Oh. Hugh Jackman when he did his boy from oz schick. I'm sorry folks, but I'll say it.
Just because you gice him a couple of good songs and some diaolgue and a suit does not a broadway-quality show make. the boy from oz was SO dumb. And his performance

re: NATHAN LANE ON 'LETTERMAN' ( Brokeback Mountain-the musical)  Dec 23 2005, 01:24:17 AM
I just find the greatest irony in the fact that once again,

cartman was right

there's a semi-indie movie about gay cowboys. if they eat pudding at any point in this movie, I will die happy.

re: what moment made you fall in love with theater?  Dec 23 2005, 01:18:42 AM
well, why not..I'll bite.
all of my best memories...and my worst memories, come to think of it, all have happened in conjunction with a show.

my first memories are of me watching the sound of music, hello dolly, the music man, and meet me in sait louis over and over again, and running back and forth to change costumes while singing and dancing. I knew every song from every show that I had on video. I still do.

but I think the one moment came when I played to the huge crowd

Need some advice for pushing a show for next season  Dec 23 2005, 01:05:18 AM
So...after an EXTENDED absence (miss me, all?) I'm back to beg your help!
Next season's play committee selection is coming up and I'm looking to push "Once Upon a Mattress" (no, not beacuse of the movie)
anyways, even if you HATE the show, I need your comments, opinions, suggestions, whatever.
if you hate it, tell me. if you love it, tell me.
post away.

It's as if...I never said goodbye (to the message board)

Does anyone know of a web stie ANYWHERE that I can find them? Thanks a bundle!

re: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (SPOILER THREAD)  Jul 22 2005, 06:06:49 PM
I just hope that the last book comes out when it's supposed to. Was it the fourth or the fifth one that kept getting pushed back farther and farther? I can't remember for sure, but I remember after reading the 1st book, I sat down and figured out how old I would be when the last one came out. I was supposed to be a high-school junior. Now I'm going to be going to college when it comes out.

re: This Wicked Spoof makes me laugh  Jul 8 2005, 01:02:48 AM
HA! that is excellent. YES.

re: Displaying theatre ticket stubs  Jul 6 2005, 01:48:45 AM
what if you had your favorites mounted in a frame...they wouldn't have to be connected to anything, just resting on the background...the good part is is that the frame could display as many or as little as you wanted.

re: Songs For A New World ?'s  Jul 6 2005, 01:45:33 AM
it's funny you should say that....I actually have thought that too, but I thought it sounded a bit hokey to actually put out there...so I guess I'm not the only one!
sweet!

A Christmas Carol???  Jul 6 2005, 01:31:05 AM
Does anyone know where I can either find the music or script to the musical "A Christmas Carol" (the new version...the one based off the one that Kelsey Grammar was in) I've googled it to no avail.

re: Songs For A New World ?'s  Jul 6 2005, 01:14:18 AM
oh indeed..some stuff doesn't make sense conventionally, like "give me back my family", but I either see it as okay, Jesus had a family or like, he sees his followers as his people.
and then there's "let me please see my son"...so maybe he and mary magdalene were a "bit more than disciples...if you know what I mean..."
.and the one about "mother mary with a blessing in my soul"...completly always reminded me of like, a teenager who finds out she's pregant, but I guess that's kind of obvi

re: Best Thing About Performing/Best Thing About Being an Audience Member  Jul 6 2005, 01:10:32 AM
Performing: the smell of the theatre and the feel of the costumes knowing that you did well and knowing you've inspired 200 people with your work

Watching: listening to the orcheastra warming up. Is there ANYTHINHG better?

re: Songs For A New World ?'s  Jul 6 2005, 01:03:53 AM
I have no idea....but I congratualte you on your thouroghness
and yes, I know I can't spell

and, for the record, King of the World always seemed like a song that Jesus would sing. I have no idea where that came from, but I do.

re: Is it possible....  Jul 5 2005, 12:58:27 AM
i don't know. seems like sometimes people just look at past work instead of newer potential

re: Theatre games  Jul 5 2005, 12:52:29 AM
yeah...I know exactly how you feel...I feel like there's this 'wall' that I need to cross to really start to get into it, but from some reason, be it feeling stupid or wahtever, I never fully cross that line.

re: Most Curiously Touching Songs  Jul 5 2005, 12:50:53 AM
mmmm..
-because I knew you
-one song glory
-climb every mountain

okay and just to be a jerk...a couple songs from the whos' Tommy...bwahahaha..sorry. I'm an idiot.

re: Bloopers and stuff  Jul 4 2005, 03:37:13 PM
