The producer Marc Platt and director Michael Groeff told us 5 minutes before the live show. Which was 5pm for us here in LA. Then they made the cast go around shaking our hands around the whole stage. The hype guy was like "don't w

So I just watched the second half of Rent Live. Not sure if it was because I had headphones in and was watching up close on the phone, or that it got better, but I really loved it. Jordan (Mark) Brennin (Roger), Tinashe (Mimi) Brandon (Collins) and Vanessa (Maureen) were the standouts for me throughout the whole 3 hours. Kiersey (Joanne) really came into her own in the second act. Even Valentina managed to affect me with Angels death. Brandons Ill Cover You reprise/funeral was haunting, beautifu

True Jordan should be playing Angel...The dude playing Angel is terrible. Who is he?"
James Andrew Leyva, more known as Valentina on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Valentina is afamous drag queen."
Valentina is DREADFUL! Totally ruining the show.

That ridiculous intro about Angel being herself should not have to be explained by the actor. It should be shown by actor. What a disappointment. Surely there were better actors auditioning than Valentina.

AMERICAN SON Reviews Jan 23

I just came from seeing the show and I thought it was great. Kerry Washington and Steven Pasquale were fantastic especially in their more emotional scenes. Definitely glad I got to see it before it closes Sunday. For those that care about the stage door, Eugene and Jeremy both came out and Kerry sent out signed Playbills which I thought was a very nice gesture on her part.

Steven was in tonight. Having not seen it prior to his injury, it would appear as if they may have modified his scene a little to not be so aggressive. He gave a great performance tonight.
I was there last night and they did come out in that order. Tatiana came out pretty quickly and was lovely. She signed and took pics. Tony was great and did the same. As the previous poster mentioned, Bryan’s assistant takes your photo for you which is great because it isnt a rushed selfie. Bryan was extremely gracious and talkative to all that were waiting. There was quite a crowd last night. He signed his book and the Playbill for me. They announce that he will only sign show rel
I saw the show last night. Elaine doesn't come out of the stage door. She gets escorted out by security to her waiting car. She signed my Playbill and was given another massive round of applause and cheers by the people exiting the theater.
It was announced Michael Cera was not coming out and the 15-20 people waiting all left. I was the only one who waited to see Lucas who came out about 10 minutes after that. I got to have a quick chat with him and get a photo/Playbill signed. I w
I saw the show last night and I am still thinking about its impact this morning. Elaine May, Lucas Hedges and Joan Allen were all fantastic. My grandmother suffered from dementia so it hit close to home to see Gladys disappear into the disease. The play goes by very quickly with strong performances by most of the cast. I would definitely recommend checking it out before it closes!
I had the opportunity to sit down with Andrew Pirozzi who plays Sven in Frozen. We had a great chat about the show, his dancing background and many other topics. If you would like to check it out, here is the link: http://theactorsaudience.com/portfolioitems/andrew-pirozzi
