This looks so scaled down in every aspect, seeing this i can't understand why they didn't use use the current European tour sets whom the Disney creatives praised so much.
What a great cast, i didn't know about Debra Byrne as the bird woman!

I think Verity will do superb in the Mary role, i found some articles about her audition in The Hague where they are finishing the rehearsals for the upcomming Dutch version. As it shows they will use both sides of the stage and it looks a lot bigger. I hope they will take this to the Australian production as well cause it looks really spectacular

Tough choice but my pick would be Hair, this direction is so spot on. For the first time i saw a complete musical production and not the fragmentary play with songs it was before.

My experience is that EVERYONE speaks English in Holland, so i guess these actors will be no exception.
Isn't it time to bring back Urinetown, it shows this musical is quite popular in Europe with productions in Germany and Italy and now heading for Amsterdam. Bring it back please!

I think Elton has class i mean Class with a capital C. He is also a total genius, but he has what we say here: his heart on his tongue. He says what comes up in his mind, there is no filter. That makes him colourful and in the same time sensitive and totally unpredictable.
