Where is Rachel Stern????  Jul 25 2010, 06:38:36 PM
We need to see us some Rachel Stern. She was so awesome in Shrek. I'd love to see her in something new.

re: Who Do You Wish You Could Sound Like?  Oct 15 2009, 07:30:13 PM
Oh my, Rachel Stern, in Shrek, just blows me away. I wish I could sing like she does.

How about White Boys, from Hair?

re: What to see this weekend? Thurs-Mon in NYC  Oct 8 2009, 06:49:02 PM
Don't listen to the naysayers, Shrek is a hoot, and a terrific evening of theatre. You won't be sorry if you go.

re: Cheyenne Jackson to Join 30 Rock?!  Oct 1 2009, 07:36:42 PM
OK, so I guess it's just I that find him creepy.

Run for your wife, and Noises Off, come to mind.

Actually, Shrek is up a tad from last week.

re: Where's Humpty Dumpty?????  Sep 1 2009, 04:34:18 PM
No, I'd heard she's something called a sprite, not an imp. Must be two different characters.

Oh, I'm guessing this is the same Rachel Stern from High Fidelity? She was terrific in that show. Such a shame it closed so quickly. I think she's a real talent.

Mr. Roxy, that was an eggcellent eggsplanation.

Where's Humpty Dumpty?????  Aug 1 2009, 01:13:20 PM
Just saw Shrek, again, and NO Humpty Dumpty... Does anyone know what happened?

re: Shrek the musical not good?  Jul 21 2009, 09:59:18 AM
I've seen the movie, and believe me, the show is way better. I just can't get over the Shrek hate here. I've seen the show four times, now, and I get something new from it each time. Of course it's not the best show ever; but it certainly has some lovely moments; and the score is far above some of the others I seen.
Nine to five being an instance. There is humor for both the young and the not so young. It's a fun way to spend a few hours.

re: 'Ugly Betty' to have a musical episode this season  Jul 14 2009, 07:58:39 PM
Does anyone remember when they did an entire musical episode on Buffy the Vampire Slayer? I think it would be terrific to do the same on Ugly Betty.

re: Will Chase to Play 'Tony' in 'Billy Elliot' Starting July 7  Jun 24 2009, 05:06:11 PM
Huge fan of Will. I think he'll be absolutely terrific in the role

re: Me and some freinds a going to New York in 2 weeks and.............  Jun 24 2009, 09:20:27 AM
Even though I'm bleeding from my eyes, regarding your spelling and grammar, I won't admonish you. I would say a lot depends on your age, and where your interests lie. They are all fine choices, but I guess everyone knows, here, that I'm a huge Shrek fan. If that's not to your liking, any of the other picks are just terrific.

re: Shrek, Billy Elliot or 39 Steps  Jun 22 2009, 08:17:19 PM
Having seen all three, I'd go with Shrek. I found Billy very over-rated. Didn't like the score at all. 39 Steps is just ok, Shrek really gives you an evening of entertainment. The cast is just so terrific.

re: Shows that you don't get  Jun 19 2009, 04:07:33 PM
Well I'm obviously not alone in this: Spring Awakening

re: Okay, whats the greatest performance you've ever seen on stage?  Jun 18 2009, 09:20:49 AM
70+ Definitely Streisand in Funny Girl
James Earl Jones in Great White Hope
