I'm a parent of a high functioining autistic and the show still pisses me off. The only time it did touch me were the scenes with Evan and his Mom because I 100% felt them. My own parental guilt destroyed me, that feeling of wanting to "fix" my child all the while knowing my child is aware of this. I guess the rest of the show irks me because of Connor's family. The fact that they fall for all this? Come on. They really didn't know their own kid?! I was rolling eyes like
Debating whether I should just get myself a side mezz $45 in advance for the final Wednesday matinee or try rush. Do you think the rush line will get a little crazier closer to the closing date? Should I just go with the size mezz seat? Just need one. Thanks.
Listened to the cast recording today and I know I have to reserve judgement for seeing it in the theater. But what is initially bothering me is...I don't buy the guys caring that much or worrying that Bobbi doesn't have a "fella" (ugh Sondheim you are God but who says fella?!). No guy I know cares like that haha. They wouldn't worry about their female friend not settling down. They'd be more like, lucky girl is getting hers. Also, Have I Got a Guy for You doesn't

He was excellent but I was puzzled by one thing- no tentacles! Very curious as to why that was. Thinking it was his first time on and they either didn't have the full costume for an understudy or hadn't rehearsed it that way .
I'm still in mourning. I've never loved a show that closed so quickly. I was lucky to be at that historic first preview, then one of the final previews before opening and then again at the final performance. I just can't understand how this show didn't catch on. It has all the makings of a crowd pleaser. I mean, with all the shows I've seen, there are very few that have huge moments like this one has, or performances (yes of course, Andy) that you can't get out o
I love love love Seeing You but what a poor choice to showcase a fun, often hilarious show. Yes it has deep themes but the audience has to go on that journey. Don't take them to the destination. I really think they should have done One Day from Phil's entrance and take it to the end. Plenty of humor, showcases the ensemble. Yeah no turntables but geez, be creative and make it work! That number tells you more about what you'd be seeing. I'm so frustrated. This s

Even if we missed Andy it was still a fun show. One thing I would like to mention, I would not advise bringing young kids to the show for language and other topics brought up in the show.
This is what kills me about the show! My 7 year old loves musicals and gets so into it. I can't even play
I saw GHD a couple weeks ago and was blown away for a variety of reasons- the stagecraft, the staging, the performances. I get why people say the show doesn't change with a new lead and technically it shouldn't, but I think it does. I couldn't see it reaching an audience in the same way. AK may not be a "name" but the fact that he can make such a narcissist so likeable from the get go says a lot about him as an actor. Imagining the show without him has me wondering
Was there last Saturday looking for 8pm show and all rush tickets were sold out by 11am. We ended up getting a nosebleed last row of the theater seat for $67 each. Damn that theater is cavernous.
Would love to know too! Plan on rushing Sat eve show after seeing our reschedule free preview of Groundhog day. Hoping we can get rush tickets for 8pm as late as 11amish when we get into the city.
Anyone happen to know how Chris Jackson's attendance is these days? I know he's in a TV series now. Hoping to see him.before he ends his run. Is he mostly out during the week? Thanks!

Chris Jackson AND Anthony Ramos the week after. Lines didn't go insane for Daveed and Renee but expect more people. Not like that of Lin leaving but more people will want to go and try the line.
