Couldn't find a thread specifically about this, but I'm wondering if anyone has any guesses on what the availability of BMC tickets will be on Stubhub or other resale sites. I'm dying to see the show, and of course the dates that aren't already sold out are for after I move out of NYC. Is there a chance resellers bought tickets and are holding them? Do y'all think there could be a lottery in the works? OR, does anyone have a ticket they want to get rid
I've gotten SO. MANY. EMAILS. for discounts from them-- there's no way this wasn't on purpose. I guess it's better to sell a seat for $17 than for it to not sell at all.
Hadestown is calling its West End showing a "pre Broadway engagement," so it will probably transfer sooner or later.
I saw Jamie last week after listening to the soundtrack on repeat. John McCrea's Jamie is untouchable and Josie Walker was just fabulous, but the show itself could use a bit of retooling. A lot of slow moments back to back, or underdeveloped characters. That being said, once Kinky Boots closes, I think it could be a fun replacement! The score is
UGH, I'm actually pretty upset about this! I've seen the show twice and have loved it every time. It may not be a perfect production, but the joy it radiates is truly infectious. Sad to see it go!

I love pure kitchen! I used to work in HK and would go here al the time. It’s sort of fast casual with a few tables, so it’s great if you’re short on time. They have great acai bowls and an awesome avocado tartine sandwich!
Oh wow, I REALLY hate that choreography. Like, I REALLY HATE IT. I'm planning on seeing this in a few weeks when I go to London, and I love the show anyway, but I'm not quite sure what to expect...
I won the lottery last week and the tickets were $42 each. I was in the back of the mezzanine, not a great seat but I didn't feel too far away from the action. It was my first time entering so I'm not sure how hard it is to win... but Spongebob is my guilty pleasure so I will probably enter a few more times this summer!
I don't think it's true that it doesn't have a chance at the revival Tony... if I remember correctly, the NYT poll said that 39% of voters voted for My Fair Lady, and 35% for OOTI. Even NYT said it was too close to call.
JudyDenmark said: "Not really a tip...but something to look forward to is that during the commercial breaks, they show funny (and sometimes poignant) insider-y videos on the screens. Nothing you’d ever get to see at home, but they’re often great!"
That's so cool! I also heard that the only time you can leave your seats is during commercial breaks, but is that not true if they're playing videos?
Ok, wow, this has been QUITE a day! I want to type out my experience for people who might want advice next year :). I got there at 6:15 and there was already a bit of a line, and people definitely cut and joined their friends as the morning went on. We thought we were about #90, but we wound up being like #130 when we bought tickets. I would suggest bringing a towel to sit on, a blanket, a portable charger, snacks, a book so your phone doesn't die, and a friend! I really did not mind the

I heard that the person at the barricade is #122. The line is beginning to wrap around on the sidewalk, and people are starting to cut or come late and claim they’ve been here the whole time. There’s no security or supervision or anything

I got here about 10 minutes ago, and I don’t think there’s even 100 people in front of me in line. However, 10 people have gotten here since I sat down, so the line is definitely getting longer, faster, as it becomes more regular morning hours. If you’re coming, get here ASAP and bring a towel to sit on.

If it were me and I had traveled all the way here and really wanted to go, I'd stay somewhere super close and check the line every hour or half hour throughout the night. Or I'd just suck it up and sit outside overnight, then after getting my ticket at 10 am go to a hotel or Air BnB and sleep all day until it's time to go.
Yes, it is a show program and a letter inviting voters to see the show. There is usually more impressive merch distributed at other press events so it does not seem so obvious.
I bet Frozen will do a medley starting with Let It Go or something else from the movie, and blend it with a song written for the show. I wouldn't be surprised if Spongebob tried to do something with the theme song, either. I feel like all of these "commercial" shows would want to capitalise on their iconic/well known songs to draw people in.
