I will be at the performance on Saturday night August 4. Fingers crossed that weather won't prevent the entire production to take place as staged on the lake.
Titanic at Serenbe Playhouse ANYONE attending? Aug 4

I'm so excited. I've always wanted to see it. The music and story demand something grand like this. I was able to snag the last ticket for the 11th. This is such a once in a lifetime staging, I'm thrilled to get to be a part of it.

I knew you were planning on seeing Betty Buckley as well and I thought you had said you wouldn't make your 100. I wasn't sure of you meant just Broadway or all.

I know you're in the 90s, what are you up to now?

This is why I love live theater. I know some people were harsh on her first performance but I absolutely adored when she lost her place for a moment and then jauntily said, "I'm supposed to be over here." And marched to her mark and backed up to get the lines right.
You know, I'm sure if they are, it's just to archive it but that would be the perfect for a Fathom Event. I don't think it would probably have the name recognition, at least by title to pull it off but that would be really cool .

So I've never watched Spongebob the cartoon. It always annoyed me in any snippet I saw or heard. That said, I enjoyed the show. Sure, it was fluff, but that was expected. I went to see the creativity in set design, to see how they portray

I have Tuesday night and Wednesday matinee as an option, looks like I

as soon as I saw all the names involved, I was excited to see it. I was completely blown away though. The dancing was effortless and beautiful, but it was Tony Yazbeck's dramatic work that truly blew me away. Yes there are things that could be tightened up but I was very impressed. FYI, today tix has digital Rush tickets. That is how I saw it, it was either 25 or $30. Worth every penny.
OOTI or Carousel? May 5

If you want to go to see certain actors no matter what they're in, go see carousel. If you want a unique experience that you'll never get to experience again unless you decide to go back, see Once on This Island. Even if they tour, this setup will not be possible. I was not a huge fan of Once on This Island, some of the music is fun enough but there were other things I wanted to see more. But I wanted to see the inventive staging and I got sucked in. And even more than that, this particular Ense

Another great option is TDF.org it's the same peoplevas TKTS. It is hit or miss as far as where you're going to sit, sometimes they are awesome seats and sometimes they're not as great. It is a cheap yearly membership fee (only $12 per year if over 100 miles from NYC) so even if you use it only once, you'll likely save money. It covers Broadway, Off Broadway, Off Off Broadway, and Regional performances. One really cool thing is that any tickets you get through TDF are not subject to the food
Are we really supposed to cheer on a sociopathiccon artist who manipulates people's emotions for money and social status andthink it's'cute'? Funny we don't seem to be doing the same for Donald Trump!
Let's see how cute it is when you flash forward 6 months and go back and visit Horace after she'sspent all his money, he's lost his business andshe's moved onto the next sucker.
