I will be in NYC on Sat Nov 3 and trying to decide if we should buy King Kong tickets now. I can't find any advance info on King Kong other than the mini video on the website and reading about the production in Australia. The FX look amazing and it certainly has great potential with new writers and songs.
If we wait until KK previews begin Oct 5 and it's a mess, then we will most likely end up in the back of the loge for My Fair Lady. (M
I live in Denver and only visit NYC every few years. I always buy tickets early to get the best possible seating (I don't want to buy premium). My good friend in NYC thinks I should not rush to get tickets now, that a surprise could appear.
Perhaps I should get the Band's Visit now and wait to see what happens with Pretty Woman?
Our girls weekend in NYC will be Oct 1 and 2. I reserved tickets for Waitress for Oct 1 and can't figure out what to see on Oct 2.
We will be seeing An American in Paris, Curious Incidence, and Finding Neverland in Denver next season and can't afford tickets to see Hamilton. Already seen Book of Mormon, Wicked, Lion King, Jersey Boys.
Other than Color Purple and Shuffle Along, are there any other musicals we should consider?
We will be in NYC and looking for a musical for Sunday October 2. Any news on when Derek Hough will be previewing in Singin in the Rain? I've read 2016 and also Jan, 2017.

Maybe Waitress doesn't have mainstream name recognition now, but just wait until Waitress is nominated for multiple Tony awards (not saying it will win against Hamilton but the publicity should spike interest) As a rule, I never buy tickets before the preview but have a good feeling about this one.
