If she sings that style again I wouldn’t mind her in the Wicked movie

I’ve heard Kong is going into Wicked after Jessica Vosk. Can you imagine his defying gravity?!
Way Too Early 2019 Tony Predictions thread Oct 15

I don’t know if it’s even possible but people have mentioned The King Kong puppet potentially getting nominated. Doubt that could even happen but it would be cool to see

To be fair, Arena Stage has less tickets to sell and Anything Goes is better sell for the older crowds who tend to go see shows. Beetle juices marketing has been about how raunchy it is. I feel like that may scare a lot of people away
Call_me_jorge said: "Maybe they’ll bring back Wayne Brady and Brendon Urie?"
Brendon Urie is busy touring this fall in Asia and then across America in February and March so that doesn’t seem likely. I do hope they bring some other big names though!
Have you seen any Cirque show recently?? Sep 9

I was just at Volta and loved what I was able to see if it. Unfortunately due to a malfunction of the set our show was cancelled only 20 minutes. Hope to see before it moves on to another city
Once On This Island filmed? Sep 8

These were filmed for promotional purposes. I don’t think they filmed the whole show except for the archives
Late Seating? Should it be allowed? Sep 8
2018, 08:32:02 PM
No it’s so frustrating for the audience and incredibly rude to the actors for late seating to occur. I was at a Cirque du Soleil show last night (I know not Broadway theatre but still live entertainment) and at least 100+ people were seated during the late seating. It was so rude and disruptive to the audience.

Yes, we do. It means paying money to see the shows we want to see. That is what being a fan means. Broadway is a BUSINESS. They exist to MAKE MONEY. And "being a fan" means supporting their show financially. Take the emotion out of it. Oh, and no one is encouraging closings.

King Kong the Musical Aug 30

The song sounds like it comes directly out of In the Heights. I can picture Vanessa singing this. And while I like the song I don’t know if it’s right for a King Kong musical? But maybe with this is what it needs to survive on Broadway
Audra returning to Broadway...? Aug 27

Oh my god I would kill to see Audra in Once on this Island, but anything to get Audra back on Broadway is good
Wicked Movie Cast (rumors, dreamcasts, etc.) Aug 23

The world tour to promote her new album is kicking off in February. Between US, European, South American, Asian, and Australian legs of the tour she is going to be busy for a long time. Doubt she will be filming a movie anytime soon. Unless they manage to film the movie before February? But I highly doubt that.
European Theatre Aug 21

Hey everyone! I’m spending 4 months traveling around Europe this fall and while I travel I really want to see as much theatre as possible. There is of course theatre in the West End but I’m curious where amazing theatre can be found in other parts of Europe. From some of the research I’ve done I see Scotland and Ireland seem to have some good theatre. Where else?
Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 8/19/18 Aug 20

Anastasia also posted a pretty low gross, lowest they’ve ever had if I’m seeing correctly. I can’t imagine that being a good sign for the show especially now that tourist season is over.
Moulin Rouge Officially Transferring to Broadway Aug 19

I’m just finally glad to see a creative team willing to take the time to fix problems with a show instead of rushing it in half baked

Did The Boys in the Band recoup? I didn’t remember hearing an official announcement but they were just taking in money for 15 weeks straight so I can’t inagibe they didn’t
