Rush for Miss Saigon Nov 24

Rushed last Sunday, 11/19 for the 4pm afternoon matinee. Arrived around 11:15am for the 12 Noon box office opening, and was about 14th in line -- by the time Noon arrived, it had stretched around the corner.
Important thing to note: the show now seems to offer two tiers of rush -- $39 for Partial View, $55 for Full View., which you choose when you get to the window. I opted for the $55, which were Center Orchestra Row U - a great view, I really appreciated elements of the scenery and l

Odd that BroadwayBox isn't working (just checked it & noticed the same problem) - but the discount offer on Givenik.com is working fine, and valid through Oct 3rd, too.

The fundraising at IN THE HEIGHTS last night was pretty terrific - kudos to Corbin for being such a spirited member of the company & willing to take what appeared to be a ton of pictures post-show for Broadway Cares.

It appears that the spring Broadway Cares post-show fundraising has begun (which I always look forward to quite a bit!) - tonight at A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, which was just as amazing as the buzz has claimed, they were selling signed posters for $100.00. Any word on others shows beginning to collect?

The code is online only, which is for the moment, the only way to get tickets on Givenik, since that's how the charity donations are tracked.

Givenik.com has group rates to every Broadway & Off-Broadway show, and donates part of the cost of your group's tickets to a charity that you choose. Most shows do have special Student Group discounts, which generally range from $25 - $50 in various parts of the theater (though the specifics differ from production to production).
Any particular shows you're interested in?

Givenik.com offers discounts for many shows (some prices & dates other sites don't have) and full-price tickets for a few others, and 5% of the cost of every ticket goes to a charity of your choosing.

Reservations for groups have just begun being taken - single tickets on Telecharge are scheduled to go on-sale next Wednesday, 8/26.

It definitely depends on the show, as well as the time of year - there are often extra special group rates for winter and fall, as well as preview periods of new shows. Student Groups also can get extra deep discounts - Wicked has Mezz seats for $41.25 and Chicago has Mezz seats for $28.75, among others. The Disney shows also do tons of group specials.

Givenik.com has one - it's not a huge discount, but it's a bit less ($99.75) and 5% of the cost goes to a charity you choose.
