Last night at the 7pm show thef-word was used only a handful of times, and swear words themselves are usually just filler to get to a punchline or generic intensifiersand glossed over prett

Has anyone seen A Christmas Carol from the balcony? I know its steep, but I'm willing to brave it for the prices, especially in such a small house. My big worry is that I won't be able to see what's happening on the thrust. Can anyone share if the view of the thrust is obstructed from the balcony? Which seats there would be ideal?
What are the chances of a discount code coming out for the last weeks with Katharine McPhee? If there is one, how soon would the code be released? Trying to decide if I should buy a ticket now or wait...
I saw both Alyssa and Aisha last Tues. It is crazy that Caissie was out the entire week of Patti's vacation. Very disappointing, as she was also out when I saw Ghost.
To get to Tuacahn from Las Vegas, it's an easy trip up 1-15 to St. George (where as has been mentioned, are a number of nice hotels) and then just 15 minutes up a major road to Tuacahn and its truly beautiful and unique red rock backdrop. The show is worth traveling to see!
The creative team made changes for this production and are continuing to work on the show moving forward, so it is not the frozen TW version. There hasn't been a cast album announced, but fingers crossed...
The new production at Tuacahn is incredible! Both Stephen Schwartz and Phillip LaZebnik were involved in rehearsals, and it is the spectacle everyone was hoping for. Here's my review and the newly released video highlights:
I am looking for the sheet music to "True Love." Did anyone pre-order the OBC in Denver and receive a copy of the sheet music? Is there any way I can purchase the music or preorder the OBC and get the free copy? Please PM me if you have information or can offer any assistance. Thank you!
Does it bother anyone else that the soundtrack doesn't more closely reflect the film? Part of "A Million Dreams" has been cut, the "From Now On" reprise isn't included, and "The Greatest Show" isn't split (with the softer ending cut). I love listening to the album, but it feels unfinished when it ends. I would love a deluxe edition with the missing music and score, like the deluxe Les Mis soundtrack that was released later on.
I haven't been to the after party, but after the Seattle concert, most of the performers (including Megan Hilty, Sierra Boggess, and Kerry Butler) came out to mingle with the audience and accept donations. We were glad we didn't spend the money for the after party. I don't know if that happens every time, but it was a nice surprise. The perfect conclusion to a wonderful evening.
This is my understanding: The Broadway production team will mount the show at the Ahmanson, after which the production will transfer to Pioneer Theatre Company in Salt Lake City in January. After it closes in Salt Lake, it will go on tour. So while the Ahmanson and Pioneer are not being marketed as tour stops, I believe that the same physical production is what will tour. Will the same cast appear in all three iterations, or even just the first two? This has not been a
I'm not familiar with the Ahmanson. For this show, would side front mezz be better than side rear orchestra? I'm worried about the overhang and acoustics but want to sit as close as possible.
"Anastasia" ranks as one of my very favorite theatre-going experiences. The material itself is now one of my favorite musicals, and the production is one of my favorites I have seen (and I've seen a lot). I loved the more mature historical angle of the book, and the score was gorgeous. My favorite song was "My Petersburg." It is absolutely perfect for the character and moment, and I still hear the wonderful tune in my head. I really hope i
The stage door is on Church Street on the side of the building, just down the street from the main entrance. A loading dock and stairs are there, and it is very easy to find. Last Friday, basically the entire cast came out and signed. Every one of the leads, and especially Christy Altomare, was so gracious and lovely and excited to talk with us. It was the most friendly and welcoming stage door experience I've had. The show is absolutely stunning, b
A LOT of work has been done on the show since the student production at BYU. Huge improvements have been made, and the book is much tighter. I was pleasantly surprised how open the creative team seems to be to improve it. Here's my review of the production:
