I actually used to work for SHN in the main office and would, on occasion, have to sit in for her assistant when she was out of the office. She is... shall we say... fascinating from afar, more than just a little unnerving in person. (I'm understating here.) That said, I've actually not been keeping up with what's been happening at SHN and will now have to dig back and catch back up.

I was JUST thinking that this morning (though there are other vocalists I'd prefer to the actual inspirations, but still).

The administrator of the official SIX Facebook page noted that casting has not yet been confirmed. I'd imagine it will at least be most of the North American cast, if not all. I could also see one or two roles recast if they'd like to have some more recognizable names (though the current cast is phenomenal and I'd be thrilled to see each of them open the show for the B
I'm kind of [very] obsessed with this show. I'm hoping to make it to A.R.T., but I'm supremely interested to hear who they'll cast (or if they'll be using the Chicago cast).
A friend has two tickets for the Saturday matinee that she can't use, and she's willing to sell them for $50 a piece. If interested, let me know!

I have tickets to this and can’t wait to hear who’s attached (director, orchestrations, performers). You’d think they’d announce soon!
My friend and I are already talking about a London trip to see the ENO production.
I bought tickets to this and am now not-so-patiently waiting to learn ANY name attached to this project. The production itself was announced eons ago and, while I recognize a semi-staged concert version in February means rehearsals are still likely fairly far out, I'm a bit surprised that not even a rumored name has been floating about.
OOPS... I meant AA (front row mezz)... oy... Anyway, I see that you get pies (lovely), but not sure if I'd feel I was missing out at all. Still worth it?
I was looking at tickets for Friday, August 11 and can only find row F (front row of the balcony seats) for two seats next to each other. Kinda' breaks my heart as I'd really like to get the full experience. For anyone who's sat in that row, what was your experience like?
Forgive the question, but I'm fairly sure I've read that there is a blog/website that notes vacation schedules/etc. Could someone, perhaps, point me in the right direction?
I don't know , though. Considering the new tensions and general intrigue surrounding the US/Russia relationship we're watching play out, there may be more interest now than we'd think. Yes, it does need an overhaul (ditch the Broadway version completely and do something closer, in structure and story, to the more recent concert version) but there really is SOMETHING in there that can be Frankensteined into something pretty magical (if given the RIGHT people at the

Xanadu ranks up there for me, too. I had a GREAT time watching the show and truly enjoyed it for what it was. But that cast album is rather difficult to listen to... I realize it was a rather minimal production, all things cons
I was in college at the University of Wyoming in Laramie at the time -- a theatre major, of course. I drove down with a bunch of friends from the department to Denver to see it. To somewhat quote Sondheim, it was nice -- not good, not bad, just nice. I loved that people were actually going to the movie theatre to see this musical. That particular night covered so many demographic bases. It was very much a two-hour music video and, while I appreciated what it mean
"So Sydney Lucas has been getting a LOT of Tony Buzz. Do you think her chances are likely in the category? Do you think she is getting noticed because of her age or did she give a stellar performance? Not knocking anything just wanted to hear what everyone thought as there seems to be more buzz surrounding Lucas than anyone else."
I appreciate the question... I've not been able to come up to the city this season, though I've been obsessing over rec
