Laura Benanti to replace Lauren Ambrose in MY FAIR LADY Oct 22
2018, 06:29:53 PM
Was notified today that I won one of the fan performances on Halloween! I’m so excited, as I was concerned having already used my Linctix, so now problem solved. I might still go back in January when Danny Burstein joins the cast, but Laura was the catalyst for all my excitement, so to be seeing her, I’m thrilled.
Decided to try the cancellation rush today for the matinee, got to the theatre around noon, they opened the doors for us and let us wait inside in a very organized line, took names at 1 (hour before show) and heres the best part... WE COULD LEAVE!! They didn't start selling tix til 1:55. Bravo to St. Ann's for such an impeccable cancellation set up. I was about the 9th person in line, and I did not have high hopes considering that one person could purchase two tix (20 bux CA
THE FERRYMAN Previews Oct 11
2018, 07:01:28 PM
Saw the play last night, it was my second of the day after having seen the matinee of Lifespan of a Fact, and I’m going to throw my hat into the “absolutely loved it” camp!
The length did concern me, going in, only due to a lack of sleep, but I was so enthralled, I wished it could’ve gone on longer. I never felt myself questioning “I’m liking this, but is it almost over?”
I got there for rush seats around 10:15, and there was no line by then, I got orchestra Row K on the side,
Per an email I just received, a new Deluxe version of the Cast Recording with cut songs, and covers of the Toys Winning Score by the current Broadway company is being released October 19th via Atlantic Records. The cut Act 1 Finale "Part of Me" is currently available as a single to download.
At first it seemed like a vinyl release or something, but the current cast was in the recording studio, as an included video details. This is very interesting, though at this

Completely agree with everything you said (minus the winning lol). I messed up on Q12. Was between the two R&H shows, but I picked wrong. Panic mode struck. With more time, I couldst found my way there. Funnily enough I just saw Hamilton (for the third time) last week, so double epic fail on my part. I downloade
$30 for TORCH SONG - Help Sep 21
2018, 01:45:50 PM
Per the box office they are not doing 30 under 30, as it’s not a Second Stage production, as previously discussed. However I was told they are trying to implement something comparable. No official word yet, however.
Girl From The North Country - Public Theater? Sep 18
2018, 06:47:07 PM
A bit late to this party, but I was at first preview, friend won the in person lotto and we were in the second row! First, I am not a Dylan fan, as in I don’t know his music, I’m 27, so I wouldn’t say he’s of my generation. Nor is folk music; or whatever it is he does; my thing either. I also knew next to nothing of the show, minus its successes in London. All that being said.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! And I’m kinda obsessed now. I thoroughly enjoyed all the music, like I was tapping m
Broadway shows with no Standing Ovation Sep 15

I’d just like to second a lack of standing ovation at The Anarchist. Besides being one of the worst things I’ve ever seen, I was in the front row.... and even tho I knew it was one act, when it ended I was still unsure what to do. Like “is it over? It doesn’t feel over” I’ll never forget that experience, but I won’t look back fondly.
Another cool instance of this happening, not quite mid show, but well you'll see...
Yesterday the actress who plays Polly Chapman (Madeline Weinstein) in Harry Potter ending up calling out sick for the evening performance, otherwise known as Part 2, and there was an announcement right before the show began and there were no inserts in the program, so clearly it happened relatively last minute as the break between parts is like 2 hours give or take. Malika Samuel went on,
Selling extra ticket to Don’t Bother Me, I Can’t Cope, Saturday Night Jul 24
2018, 10:30:48 AM
My friend and I bought these way in advance and she has to work, so I need to sell her ticket. The ticket is 28 dollars. Seat A15 in the Grand Tier (that’s the front row of the “mezzanine”) I’ll be attending the show with you. As well as the Lobby Project beforehand. PM me for any info. It’s a great seat for a great price. The show is this Saturday July 28th at 8pm
Cats as a punch line? Jul 16
2018, 02:31:03 PM
It seems Cards Against Humanity has also gotten in on the CATS punch line business. The recently released Theatre Pack had an understudy variant pack. I was lucky enough to receive one. The cards are hilarious and it came with an understudy slip plus a cash refund!
I'd like to bump to ask if anyone knows if Angels in America ever made a souvenir program, when I saw the show I bought a ton of merchandise, but it was early in the run, and Im very curious if they ever made a program, I know its a rarity for plays, but this show seems ripe for one. Any word before it closes in a couple weeks is appreciated.

Can wnyone get to Radio City and buy ne a stufevt rush ticket? Im literally standing here, and they wonr acceot my ID.
For the sake of not typing out dozens of names, for all non-performance categories I will be writing the name of the show instead of the person/people responsible. Hope no one finds that offensive. (Side note: as of this past Sunday I have seen every single new eligible show this season, so take that as you will as far as my judgement goes) * denotes who I think will win (not should win, necessarily imo)

The Next Great Broadway Revival Apr 25

Reading through this thread is part fascinating with some great ideas and part fan service of shows we just had on broadway, which I find is just a chore to read, but everyone has a right to express their opinions. (Like I love me some Great Comet, Next to Normal and In the Heights as much as the next person, but they were all just here, among many others listed)
As far as my want list, I’d love the following... Titanic - I know a production is in the works, I just really need somet
Can someone on here please set my mind at ease on the following subjects...
Please tell me the 3 Olivier winners from Cursed Child (Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezwani and Anthony Boyle) will not beat the, imho, much more deserving trio from Angels in America (Andrew Garfield, Denise Gough and Nathan Lane or James McArdle)
I very much enjoyed Cursed Child, but Parker simply yells/cries all his "big bits" (that, does not a Tony Winning Actor make), and Noma really doesn&#
Mean Girls Pink Wednesday Rush Mar 9
2018, 08:52:39 AM
Mean Girls is really going above and beyond to make cheap tickets accessible to a lot of people, and I think that’s great. We should remember that they don’t have to do any of this. It gives the normal online lotto crowd opportunity, should they not live in the city, it gives the city folk a better odds in person should they physically show up to lotto, and as far as the rush. I think it’s a brilliant and fun idea.
As far as people showing up on Wednesday and not wearing pink, since th
