Another cool instance of this happening, not quite mid show, but well you'll see...
Yesterday the actress who plays Polly Chapman (Madeline Weinstein) in Harry Potter ending up calling out sick for the evening performance, otherwise known as Part 2, and there was an announcement right before the show began and there were no inserts in the program, so clearly it happened relatively last minute as the break between parts is like 2 hours give or take. Malika Samuel went on,
Selling extra ticket to Don’t Bother Me, I Can’t Cope, Saturday Night Jul 24
2018, 10:30:48 AM
My friend and I bought these way in advance and she has to work, so I need to sell her ticket. The ticket is 28 dollars. Seat A15 in the Grand Tier (that’s the front row of the “mezzanine”) I’ll be attending the show with you. As well as the Lobby Project beforehand. PM me for any info. It’s a great seat for a great price. The show is this Saturday July 28th at 8pm
Cats as a punch line? Jul 16
2018, 02:31:03 PM
It seems Cards Against Humanity has also gotten in on the CATS punch line business. The recently released Theatre Pack had an understudy variant pack. I was lucky enough to receive one. The cards are hilarious and it came with an understudy slip plus a cash refund!
I'd like to bump to ask if anyone knows if Angels in America ever made a souvenir program, when I saw the show I bought a ton of merchandise, but it was early in the run, and Im very curious if they ever made a program, I know its a rarity for plays, but this show seems ripe for one. Any word before it closes in a couple weeks is appreciated.

Can wnyone get to Radio City and buy ne a stufevt rush ticket? Im literally standing here, and they wonr acceot my ID.
For the sake of not typing out dozens of names, for all non-performance categories I will be writing the name of the show instead of the person/people responsible. Hope no one finds that offensive. (Side note: as of this past Sunday I have seen every single new eligible show this season, so take that as you will as far as my judgement goes) * denotes who I think will win (not should win, necessarily imo)

The Next Great Broadway Revival Apr 25
2018, 12:19:07 PM
Reading through this thread is part fascinating with some great ideas and part fan service of shows we just had on broadway, which I find is just a chore to read, but everyone has a right to express their opinions. (Like I love me some Great Comet, Next to Normal and In the Heights as much as the next person, but they were all just here, among many others listed)
As far as my want list, I’d love the following... Titanic - I know a production is in the works, I just really need somet
Can someone on here please set my mind at ease on the following subjects...
Please tell me the 3 Olivier winners from Cursed Child (Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezwani and Anthony Boyle) will not beat the, imho, much more deserving trio from Angels in America (Andrew Garfield, Denise Gough and Nathan Lane or James McArdle)
I very much enjoyed Cursed Child, but Parker simply yells/cries all his "big bits" (that, does not a Tony Winning Actor make), and Noma really doesn&#
Mean Girls Pink Wednesday Rush Mar 9
2018, 08:52:39 AM
Mean Girls is really going above and beyond to make cheap tickets accessible to a lot of people, and I think that’s great. We should remember that they don’t have to do any of this. It gives the normal online lotto crowd opportunity, should they not live in the city, it gives the city folk a better odds in person should they physically show up to lotto, and as far as the rush. I think it’s a brilliant and fun idea.
As far as people showing up on Wednesday and not wearing pink, since th
I woke up this morning to a vague text from a friend with a news link. I read it and was like, why did my friend send me this, I don't know those names. Then it hit me, all at once, just the realization and shock and tears. Some things its just hard to believe could happen. You're supposed to cross during a red light and cars aren't supposed to move, thats how it should've been last night.
Every time I have ever met Ruthie she has been nothing but gracious and kind and
R.I.P. David Ogden Stiers Mar 3
2018, 09:27:08 PM
Don’t forget he was Governor Radcliffe in Pocahontas. “Mine, Mine, Mine” is one of my fav Disney songs. And as far as his theatre credits, he was also in Encores! Tenderloin with Patrick Wilson. That cast album is a real treasure.
I rushed this yesterday morning, as they had a Monday evening performance, and ended getting front row center orchestra. So I was pleased as I love sitting close, especially for 40 bux, and the stage wasn't very high, so no annoying neck tilting.
However, this show was not good. Now I am not a Buffet fan, in the least (hell, upon exiting the theatre I only realized I walked past the composer/lyricist because someone said his name and I looked in that direction and assumed it was hi
Celebrity Big Brother climax (spoiler included) Feb 25
2018, 11:33:00 PM
The season was fraught with problems, the condensed timeframe, while I understand for a celebrity standpoint, really didn’t allow for truly great strategy. I think there were some very poor casting choices, particularly 2 of the 11 wanting to be evicted. You have a newborn who needs your milk, maybe don’t sign up, and don’t even get me started on the waste of space that was Meta. (Tho I’m biased against him as even just uttering his name bothers me) And I think this finale was handled particular
Im almost positive this was the exact ensemble she was wearing when I saw her at Meteor Shower last Saturday, the 13th, after the matinee, I exited the theatre pretty quickly and as I did I walked right by her and did like a triple take. Then her and her husband went to the stage door to wait for autographs from the cast, I'm sure of it. (She went backstage, if my sarcasm wasn't obvious) She was using a cane btw, and she's so short in person!
I had a pretty great year, though waiting on lines was unexpected and took away from a lot of potential browsing time. First time in my 5 years attending Ive had to wait in line to peruse a table. That being said I had some great finds. My boyfriend got some really cool stuff too, I was jealous.
