Problems? WTF? It’s the most perfect piece of theatre you could ever hope to see.
Alarm bells rang for me when they decided to use 4 poster designs.,.. who’s stupid idea was that? Any moron knows that for a big show like this to get noticed, it needs to have clear branding. ONE clear brand.
sorry to saw but Drew McOnie is just too inexperienced to helm a show of this scale. Any other director would have demanded the score be rewritten.
No sadly in London, the ‘plot’ was always a hot mess. I’m fact it was totally unsatisying except when the songs take over, Don’t go to this expecting a great musical.. it ain’t.
The term “Body shaming” is thrown around so casually now and I fear this is one of those cases. I can’t detect and criticism of her body , rather the designer not dressing her accordingly.
It it sounds like a rather over sensitive actress getting some attention for herself. Then again, it must be pretty embarrassing to read comments like that in widely read publications about yourself.

Nowhere has it been mentioned that Andy will reprise his GH role in London, only that Tim Minchin stated there would be a revival this year. I would honestly love for you to provide details on Andy reprising his role in London. Por favor, Anita!

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I did not really care for her as Elphaba when I saw her in the Wicked tour a few years ago, but she is really great in this. Her performance is much more nuanced than Caissie Levy's, and she comes across as more mature.
At the first preview, I was sitting the orchestra and had a great v
40 minutes(!) of press reels from the 1994 production."
Thankyou for that..such wonderful memories came flooding back watching that. A truly sensational production..one that will never be improved upon, THAT CAROUSEL!!!!

It is a hobby of mine and I pay my own way when we attend discounted performances, which I acquire through local group sales. If I get comped into any of the SF touring shows I also treat one of my friends with my plus-one ticket. I am also extremely lucky that I can travel to NYC and support the B
