That being said, they should find a celebrity or YouTuber or SOMEONE to play one of the supporting roles for a month or two over the fall/winter, and I think it would really help.
Look at Waitress - looks like we’re learning YouTubers are a solid investment, given how they can film videos during the day and perform at ni
I rushed recently for a Tuesday arriving about 8 AM to be 2nd in line. The third person in line arrived at 8:15 AM. Seats weren't great orchestra right almost at the end of the aisle on row M.
I saw it at La Jolla -- liked it but it did have some storytelling flaws and a few numbers that were cringe worthy (particularly the dancing paparazzi number). I thought there was enough there for it to work -- i just hoped they did some actual work since closing and aren't just going on Broadway because a house has opened.

Besides eating, are there any post show events like cabarets or similar things that you like to do? Even clubs with Live music would be great. I'm doing a week Broadway catching up trip on Friday to see closing shows.
I guess ATP will just have to wallow in all that money they are making. 98 percent capacity and 1.4 million in box office. It's got to be tough.

Personally, Tootsie and Ain't Too Proud would be on the top of the list. Tootsie would be my choice because I've already seen Ain't Too Proud. I did see the investors presentation for Tootsie, but would love to see it with sets and costumes. Both are really good.
They aren't slipping. Non-profits like the La Jolla Playhouse that pay for developmental productions are a win win for Broadway. There have been plenty of musicals they produced that didn't go on to Broadway. Their charter is to develop new theater, so this fits perfectly. If none of their original shows went to Broadway, it would still be a win for them because they develop talent.
The issue about these two musicals is that the producers really didn'
