Hi all.

Does anyone know if off-broadway shows (ie Little Shop) are cancelled too?

Cats?! Why Orlando?!

Loudest gasp you've heard in the theatre  Feb 13 2020, 07:07:33 AM
When Kathleen Turner walked out to center stage completely naked in The Graduate.

I was kidding about Margaritaville. It was awful. And not in a fun way.

Usually 5 or 6 of the same shows.

Now that Tampa posted, we can know what Orlando’s line-up will look like. Hope we get a return engagement of Escape From Margaritaville!

Alissa Wilkinson’s review at Vox is a delight.

“Will the earnestly supportive parents of theater kids who take their teens to the movies over the holiday ever speak to their children again?”

The Wrong Man  Nov 21 2019, 06:24:46 AM
Just saw Escape to Margaritaville on tour. Left at intermission. The Wrong Man is still the worst show I’ve ever seen.

Teatime. I’m not being snarky, I’m genuinely interested what moved you to tears?

The Wrong Man  Oct 10 2019, 09:02:52 PM
A show about a man wrongly accused and executed is “a lot of fun.” That might be the problem.

These reviews are negative but not near what I thought they would/should be. Did anyone see the show early in previews and then also recently to talk about any changes?

Opens today. What are the critics going to say?

"Slave Play" Broadway Reviews  Oct 6 2019, 08:14:52 PM
I predict mostly raves with one or two reviews that absolutely hate it. Saw it a couple weeks ago and my wife and I are still talking about it. It was the most thought provoking and uncomfortably enjoyable play we’ve ever seen.

Hunter Foster’s tweet -

Overblown concept, “style” and unmotivated choreography does not make a musical.

Story and character are more important. The rest is all BS.

The Wrong Man  Oct 4 2019, 06:40:51 AM
Did anyone else think Hunter Foster’s tweet was throwing shade on The Wrong Man?

The Wrong Man  Oct 4 2019, 06:38:49 AM

I don’t remember there being any inappropriate material for a teenager. You can also listen to the concept album as the show is nothing more than Joshua Henry singing those songs while others dance around him.
