(Think about it! A con man enters a very straigh-laced, traditonal scenario. While the con man is, eventually, revealed to be a fraud, everyone quickly realizes that his outsider/non-traditional ways had a positive impact on the people.)
This fall I plan on seeing Beautiful & & Rock Of ages.
If I go to either the box office, when it opens, are they able to tell me where the available rush seats are, before I buy one? I'd be willing to spend an extra $20-30 (with a discount code) to get a full view, IF the rush seats are partial view. If rush seats are better, I'd take one of those.
Would I be likely successful in getting such info/assistance at the box office?

BUT, I'm stuck between 2 location offers, based upon price, etc. I'm hoping that those of you on here whoknow the show and/or City Center well can offer some recommendations.
Do you think I'd be better off sitting in Row B or C of the balcony, a few seats off center OR, Row E

The only discount codes I see online end September 1st. Is there a good chance that there will be another one/other ones, for the final months (after September 1st)? Is there a chance that they could actually RAISE the prices for those final months?
Just figure that you guys might have a sense what will happen, from past experiences.
Geez. How does this type of scenario, usually, work out? The seats appear at a later date?
I had my eye on seats, but didn't get the opportunity to buy them yet. Since every time I looked they were still there, I wasn't sweating it. Now should I?

No worries, as far as I see it (especially on this board). It's one of those things that once you get the idea in your head, people like us can drive ourselves crazy!
I've found that some simple Googling can help too (not to detract from this thread, at all). Sometimes the venues that host the touring versions of these shows or UK sites, for shows that play there, will give content/effect advisories.
Also, I've heard that there are "gunshot sound effects" in Ain't Too Proud. Does any one know the context/timing/severity them?

Just wanted to reinforce what alex814 said.I saw the show twice in DC and just this weekend on Broadway, and I think I can confirm that there’s nothing in the pyro that would startle someone with sensitivity to loud/sudden noises. However, there isa big WHOMP at the end of intermission to get the audience’s attention. It st

I've gotten that impression, too!
As I see it, they're dropping the ball, BIG TIME, on the advertising! I work in Manhattan. I cross through Times Square, 2 times a day, 5 days a week. Only 30 minutes ago did I see my 1st add for the show.
Let's be honest. People know the songs as Meat Loaf songs, from decades ago! Since, Meat Loaf is not in the show, they need to BARRAGE NYC with
