I was there for the evening show. Chappelle was fantastic as both Lafyette and Jefferson. Lexi was not in but Alysha was and she was great. Ephraim was also in for Oak and he was great as well. The show as a whole was incredible.
"I don't think these "medley" numbers are doing these shows any favors. So far, both FUN HOME and SOMETHING ROTTEN have created the greatest impression, and those were single number performances. I don't know that ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY and (especially) AMERICAN IN PARIS showed themselves in the most positive light by going the medley route. [The medley for KING & I was at least understandable, due to the familiarity of the piece.]"
Hi. I was looking for tickets to the King and I for late June/early July and want to make sure I see the aforementioned leads. However, I can't find anything about if their contracts extended when the show extended. Does anyone know anything or has been able to find anything ? Thanks.
