I love this (that your Mom is your KB buddy)! I also just talked to my Mom, who loves KB as much as I do and we agreed $150+ for these seats really aren't worth it. Just goi
Just throwing my 2 cents in, loved American Idiot... really did not enjoy These Paper Bullets when I saw at Yale. There were laughs for sure, but for me, it felt forced on my part.
Although to me, a not so great night of theater is better than a boring night at home, so there's that. But I wouldn't go in expecting anything along the lines of AI, which is probably the mistake I made.
Won the JB lottery the first night it was offered. Seats were Orchestra Row K, seats 13 & 15.
Edited to add: loser seats were mentioned in the email that was sent out (I won, the other in person in my party did not and received the email with the offer code for non-winners) but the price(s) were not.
My first & foremost: Scott J. Campbell - from the very first time I saw him go on for Ryan Jesse as Bob Gaudio. Refer to him as my "Broadway boyfriend" :/
Honorable Mentions: Matt Bogart, Raul Esparza, Stark Sands, Steve Kazee, Andy Karl, Dom Nolfi, Andrew Rannells, Taye Diggs
Girl crushes - Annaleigh Ashford, Jessie Mueller
Wouldn't mind just being good friends: Jarrod Spector, Haven Burton, Peter Gregus, Quinn VanAntwer

I saw this show Saturday evening at the Palace Theater in Waterbury (what a beautiful theater!!) Extraordinary girl is now just a dance sequence with 2 or 3 girls in nurses uniforms and Extraordinary girl in the pink harem outfit. It really is lackluster.
I spoke to a few of the cast members after the show and they said the aerial was cut due to cost and also because some venues could not support the rigs required.
I've seen AI on B'way, and every tour and this was my least f

According to Ben Hope's Facebook post on March 18, he states that playing the role of Guy was temporary, 4 weeks with a possible extension, so he was definitely aware of the situation.
Steve Kazee - in or out? Mar 18

Kinda seems senseless at this point to report that Ben Hope was on for Sunday, but mentioning anyway. I liked Ben, not as strong as Steve vocally, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I'll be there on Sunday and will report back, unless someone else beats me to the punch.
