Liked it, didn't love it. Costumes are just awful, like something futuristic. Having heavy drama play essentially off state and accessible by just video just really disconnected me from the drama.
What do they do if there is an understudy? Have they filmed this vignettes multiple times to account for change in cast?
Didn't like the way Maria was directed. She comes across flirty and Maria should be reserved and shy at first.&nb
I saw it this weekend and really loved it. My favorite show this weekend out of the four I saw. Didn't feel like over 3 hours, but I do think the entire last scene is unnecessary. Could've shaved 10 minutes off the time by ending it with the scene in the mine.
This production is everything the Sher production should've been and wasn't. I saw this downtown and then again uptown and I was devastated from Do You Love Me until the very end. Skybell is giving a definitive performance as Teyve and had he been eligible, would've walked away hands down with the Tony for Best Actor.
Anyone looking to see the Jason Robert Brown/Stephen Sondheim show tonight in NY? Selling one ticket, $100 (originally $235)with immediate transfer via Ticketmaster upon PayPal payment. Center orchestra, Row U.
Man, these tickets went fast and had trouble getting in, but finally secured some seats. Â Not the best, but still in the building. Â Anyone else going?
Just trying to finish out the season and curious if we've seen Hillary & Clinton or Oklahoma! window cards for sale at the theaters yet? Â Not too worried about OK - I am sure they will eventually have them. Â H&C is the wild "card", pun intended. Â I appreciate the information.
I love seeing the red carpet arrives for Broadway opens, but man, they gotta stop with the extreme closeups. I don't want to see nose hair, plastic surgery scars, pores and the yellow teeth close up! It is just not flattering. Pull back guys!

I think the problem you had was with that particular volunteer and not BCEFA policy.

You were very lucky then. I reached out to their office via email relaying the issue I had and received no response to my experience with t
I’m done supporting this charity and it kills me to say so as I’ve supported them for years. I spent $800 on signed posters this round and each and every one had some type of minor damage with one being really damaged. While the main office was initially supportive, I got flack yesterday from the volunteer at the Cher show for removing the poster from its sleeve to ensure it was in decent condition, which it wasn’t. I was instructed by the main office that doing this would n
I was in First Tier and the sound throughout the night was awful. It improved slightly half way through the first act, but Tony Y's audio was absolutely the worst. You figure after all the shows that are staged in that venue, sound wouldn't be an issue.
And, what was with the audience made up of mommy and daddy needing to take pictures of their little bubbela on the stage in the chorus?? This isn't a high school sing-a-long! I didn't pay $200 to

On Your Feet was the most poorly produced cd and those who produced it should be embarrassed. It is an example of how NOT to record a live representation of a musical.
I think some people are confusing sad songs with songs that make them cry. For instance, I don't see Back to Before from Ragtime to be sad, but I cry when I hear it. I actually think it to be somewhat joyous song that closes the arc for Mother - she has finally become a full person standing on her own as a result of her experiences and is not the china doll that she was before.
There are many others.

Go see both on a two show day. They complement each other very well. Makes for a good double feature.
