I thought the movie was amazing. Eponine and Fantines death made me cry. The part with Santa Claus made me laugh. I had no issues with Russel Crowe. I thought Ann Hathaway was perfect for the role of Fantine. The battle scenes were a little boring, but I sat through it. I think I might want to see it again!

I personally love the soundtrack. I purchased it on Friday for $5 on amazon. Anne sang the sh*t out of "I Dreamed A Dream".
I grew up listening to the original broadway cast, so this is a nice change. I was hoping fantines death "Come To Me" would be on the release. Also, I would love to hear "A Little Fall Of Rain" as well.

yes it says the premiere american recording in red letters across the top.
I was excited to see Annie on vinyl because I havent seen that since the 70's. It was my first show.
Wish I could find the original CD before it was remastered.

I just found a few broadway cast albums on vinyl in a thrift store. Annie, Cats, Joseph, Music Man, Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Evita, West Side Story.
They were $1.00 each. Could these be worth anything online? They are in mint condition. I might go back and get the other records I saw.
I know I saw La Bohome and some stuff from the 70's

Very interesting. It always confused me when shows jumped to different theaters. I never understood why. I remember seeing Annie in different locations such as Alvin and Uris (Gershwin).
Besides Gershwin and broadway theater, aren't the rest basically the same sizes?

It's all good. I was just wondering.
Seems like shows never stay long at the Lunt. Could it be a curse? I've read that the Lunt Fontanne is a desired theater because of the location, but aren't all the theaters within blocks of each other. I can literally walk to each theater within minutes. What makes Lunt Fontanne so special? Just curious.

Do people actually care about what theater a show is playing? I never really thought about it. I just like to enjoy what I am seeing. Does the location matter to many?
