Not that this would ever happen, but I would love to see a Streisand directed FUNNY GIRL with Jessie Mueller as the star. Now I think that would sell!
Nothing from the limited press release read to me as Laura being a temporary replacement. I feel like this will be the last we'll see of Lauren in the role.
(It might just be me hoping they film it with Laura, though.)
Mame also spans several decades as well, starting in the 1920's before the 1929 Stock Market Crash when her nephew, Patrick, is a little boy going through his college years and in the final scene taking his son, her great nephew on a trip to India.

Especially since I saw people mention finding the flipbooks elsewhere for $20 or so?"
The flip books of Bette's dinner scene? I got one for $1 and that was at the beginning of the day! What else was included in the Tony voter package? Was
I also could only stick around for about an hour when it first opened. I got a Hello, Dolly! Water Bottle, Hat, and flip book, and a The Last Ship baseball cap and sweatshirt, all for $30.
For the past 5 fleas I’ve been looking for a “Sally Marr...and her escorts” window card and one of the tables had one for $20, but another guy beat me to it by about 10 seconds. So that was devastating, lol. The Triton table has a Carrie window card, but at $110 it

Someone in another thread mentioned the possibility of a transfer of the West End production of Company to the Walter Kerr in the Spring if its well received.
I feel like there is a good chance it could be someone who did the book of a musical, which is why I suggested Terrence McNally. I didn't even consider Sorkin, but I suppose it could be "A Few Good Men". Kenneth Lonergan doesn't really have anything that would suit Audra. I'm not familiar enough with Moses' works to say if any of his plays would be the right fit.

This is the project I was referring to when I said"It's supposedly a revival of a play by a living writer. (It's not'night, motheror a production that's beenannounced)" earlier in the thread.
