I was asking for others' thoughts on the subject. That's all.

Are you having a bad day? You seem stressed.

Mark Peikert  Dec 14 2020, 02:56:58 PM
Long article from former editor of Playbill but there were some interesting tidbits:

Had I heard of the alleged gay sex party full of Broadway stars that you love and adore. This reporter had not. They get together and have sex with newcomers, Mark Peikert said. This is second-hand information, I have not been invited myself. At the end of the night, there are party gifts. So, one bottom [a sex partner who prefers getting penetrated] reaches into the bowl of gifts and plucks out his pri

Anyone who knows me knows my undying love for Groundhog Day, and I also agree with CMIYC & LoF. However, I can't believe no one has yet mentioned the beautiful Big Fish. I still cry at that one.

CHESS at the Kennedy Center  Mar 22 2018, 02:19:09 PM

Interesting to see all the different opinions on here.  Personally, I was so enraptured with the first night's performance I stayed for the second and honestly would have stayed all weekend if money allowed.  Ruthie had bronchitis and was pregnant, Raul had a throat infection and Karen had a cold the whole run so it was a miracle any of them pulled it off.  I loved the new book as the story never made much sense to me but I agree about too many f-bombs (and I

Is a preview like an actual performance?  Oct 17 2016, 10:09:19 AM

I've seen many previews and never had any problems except at this latest revival of tick, tick...boom!  It was the first night and the sound went out during the first song.  We had about a 45 minute break but we got half priced drinks out of it so it was tolerable.

do you happen to have a link to this?  I'd love to hear it.

Saw it Friday and it blew me away even though I had seen it a few years ago.  Some songs are the same but he has changed some.  Also, the new CD is for sale there so you don't have to wait for the pre-order to arrive.

I forgot about Danny...you are correct.  But Alex still gives a top notch performance.

I have worked a lot of shows in my over 20 years of ushering and this is probably the biggest, consistently crowd pleasing one I've ever done.

We are doing "You're in the Band." Of course we want to sell more tickets, but we aren't really in danger of going anyplace anytime soon.

There are too many people out there

I adore Wicked and have seen it multiple times.  Saw AP and it took me several days to figure out my reaction to it.  Ultimately fell on the negative side: it was a perfect replica of the 80's and visually appealing and well acted, but the show itself just left me cold.

As a middle aged woman from New Jersey let me say I saw the show, so please don't generalize.
