I could go for a David Hyde Pierce/Kelsey Grammer co-host wihere at the end they announce they’re doing a Frasier reboot for CBS Television."
Wrong network. FRASIER is owned by NBC, not CBS.
Actually Frasier aired on NBC, but is owned by CBS Studios so a revival would be s
Musical theatre scene for two women? Mar 2

I’m shocked no one has mentioned the obvious A Boy Like That/I Have a Love from West Side Story. Fantastic scene for two women!

Has anyone had any luck with getting rush tickets for this? I go on and try everyday constantly refreshing, to no avail. Any tips or success stories? Thanks!

They use the main entrance as the stage door and usually set up barricades right up front.

I’m sure the only reason they said no touching was probably because someone must’ve done something weird one night that bordered on hitting him. Having seen how he is at the stage door, I’m sure he’s fine with handshakes and the arm around during pictures thing.
Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 2/10/19 Feb 13

It’ll also be interesting to see if the upcoming Frozen movie sequel (releasing in November) will help at all, or if they will try to heavily capitalize on that.
THE BAND'S VISIT sets closing Feb 7

Another point to make in regards to acting wins, Tony Shalhoub was no longer in the show by the time he won his Tony. That also made things a little bit more difficult to capitalize on.
The Band's Visit Seating Question Feb 2

I didn’t sit in those seats, but I remember entering the aisle from that end of the row, and it looked like there would be a fair amount of obstruction with those seats.

The reason the film's box office is starting to be seen as struggling is because it carries a much higher budget than both Greatest Showman and La La Land. While I loved Mary Poppins Returns, it certainly hasn't held on quite as well as The Greatest Showman did last year, and time will tell if it turns out to be profitable.

I can't seem to figure out what performances at the Public will be of Sea Wall and which will be for A Life. I want to get tickets, but I want to see A Life with Jake Gyllenhaal. The website isn't very clear. Does anyone have the info? Thank you.

I saw the film last night and loved it. I enjoyed most of the songs, and felt the casting was strong. Emily Blunt did an excellent job, and even Lin-Manuel Miranda was better than I expected. The opening number by him was a little jarring at first, but once he settled in, it turned out to be a nice performance. Dick Van Dyke, Meryl, and Lansbury all had fantastic cameos, Ben Whishaw was solid, and overall I felt this movie was a worthy successor to the original. I'm very surprised, but I believe
The Ferryman, Torch Song, or The Prom? Dec 10
2018, 12:14:32 PM
I'd also recommend Torch Song. Such amazing performances and an overall beautiful production that's closing too soon. The Ferryman was very good, but I also agree it's starting to get a little overrated. It's a stunning modern tragedy with incredible performances, but runs a bit long and could be a little confusing at times. Torch Song is also close to three hours but it flew by more than The Ferryman.
Golden Theatre Seating Nov 14

I mean you always have to deal with audiences, the way they act is so unpredictable. Usually they're fine for the most part, but I had to move at intermission during The Play That Goes Wrong this summer because a woman behind me was obnoxiously laughing and bellowing. Only example I could think of.

I'm 6'2" and have had no problems in the Orchestra or front mezzanine, most recently having seen The Waverly Gallery a month ago in the orchestra. The rear mezzanine is a different story, however.
KING LEAR Moving to the Cort Nov 6

If Rudin tries playing Goldielocks with the theatres again I'm going to be pissed. I JUST repurchased tickets to King Lear yesterday after having to call telecharge, ask for only the refund, and then wait for my date to be transferred to the Cort page and buy them. Pick one already, I'm sure both shows will sell fine!
