God knows the rest of us mourn Mazzie's passing; I canbarely imagine how her widower feels."
I think the fact that it was just announced that they broke the Winter Garden box office records this week will certainly help. And I wouldn't doubt that they extend into the summer, which makes me wonder if the original cast will sign on to stay through the original run if that's the case.
I doubt it will close before April. Beetlejuice is a show where a lot of people will rush or buy last minute. (Not to mention it could start selling quicker closer to the holidays.) The shows for March and end of February are starting to fill up, and the weekend shows for January are starting to sell a bit more too. I'm fairly certain that if they close it, they'll give it a full year run on Broadway and have the last April show be the closing night. Just my thought
As others have said, when Alex was on as Dewey Finn they had an alternate for several performances a week as the singing wasn't sustainable. I think (and please correct me if I'm wrong) the alternate started right around when Alex had his vocal injury in School of Rock. It's also why he worked to make sure his current Beetlejuice voice is sustainable for him and his understudies have their own version of the voice that works for them.
I think Beetlejuice is the one I'm most looking forward to based on a-seeing the show and b-their previous performances on live tv. I really enjoy the fact that they customize the lyrics to fit the live performance like with the Tony's or the Today Show. It makes it seem completely unique and memorable.

I agree with what others have said about a well worded letter/card, and art. Something unique, thoughtful and meaningful goes a long way. I know the Beetlejuice cast loves the fanart they get, I think L
I have a feeling Will Blum is filling in for Alex as it was just announced that Alex will be in Here Today with Billy Crystal. Principal photography has been underway in NYC. If its a smaller role, two or three days to film is completely normal. (On average they try to film 3-6 pages of the film a day) I think the "subject to change" refers to the filming schedule and if Alex would be called back for reshoots. Again, I'm simply speculating, however the timeline

We didn’t expect him to given that it was a matinee. He came out when we saw him in School of Rock & he was delightful! If the stage door experience is as vital to you as seeing him perform, I would try to move your trip up if that is an option. I wasn’t that excited about seei
Thank you all so much for all the suggestions and help. I'm fairly open to any show, though I do like shows that are a getaway from life and can truly make me forget about the outside world while I'm there. (I'm a bit of a history buff if that helps any) I've heard great things about Hadestown, and Wicked is also one I would eventually like to see. I originally had plans to see Alex in School of Rock, however life (as is so often the case) threw me a cu
Brand new to the board and I have a few questions as Im trying to plan a trip to see several Broadway shows in March 2020. The first is about Beetlejuice. I know they released the newest block of tickets that go through April 2020. I am a huge fan of Alex Brightman and really want to see him as Beetlejuice, especially after hearing the reviews from those who have seen the show. If I were to plan for a mid March trip, would it be safe to assume Alex would still be in the show?
