I don’t think these things are the future. There are SO many ways to get around them, all you really need is a strong magnet and, like others have said, you can just rip them open. It would be a big waste of money to constantly replace the broken ones, when people can just use placer phones anyway.
So many schools have tried to implement these and failed cause kids are smart and know how to open the pouch. On concept, it sounds great but in execution, it fails

I can’t think of a show that I’ve been in where there hasn’t been someone who suffers from some mental health issue. And that’s excluding myself! There’s just so much of a stigma around being mentally ill, especially with anxiety disorders, that people don’t talk about it.

Depression and Anxiety are just short hand for their actually names, Major Depressive Disorder and and Anxiety Disorder (there are many types). You can’t kind of have it, it is a you have it or you don’t. But, yes, coverage and benefits for everyone working in the theatre is very important! I can’t imagine what those ushers go through with the st

It's when these emotional states become outside the normal range of experiences that they can progress to mental health issues or even mental illness. It's not a 'you have it or you don't' thing', which is why proper treatment is important if someone is progressin

I personally don't like it, but it seems as if theaters don't really care if you film or take pictures then? I find it so rude, its really the only time the performers are specifically looking for a reaction from an audience. If I was an Evan who just gave my ALL on stage only to see 5 or 6 cameras in the front recording my bow id be annoyed fr
Alright, I have a different perspective as a high school student in Ohio.
PE now, is a lot different from PE in generations past. Most schools hire their coaches as teachers in their classes and because they’re preoccupied with football, most students sit around or play pickup basketball. Nothing is organized and there is no exercise done most days. I took the class for 2 years and want to say that I actually worked out like, 30% of those days.

I suffer from some pretty debilitating social anxiety
I wasn’t there on Sunday but word is that at Reeve Carney’s Green Room 42 show, he asked for requests like he usually does and people began jeering and asking for him and Eva to do a song together. This wasn’t a duo show, it was a solo concert and she was just sitting in the front supporting him.
They tried to get off of the subject by saying like “Oh, we don’t have anything prepared that we can do!” but people just kept throwing out
hoping it’s something i want to see because the sondheim is the most comfortable theatre i’ve ever been in. so much leg room, it’s a dream.
seriously though, i’m holding out hope that alice by heart will announce a transfer and take the space. it would fit really well in that theater, i think.
i’m guessing september, maybe october if they can get away with it but i wouldn’t really get hopes up. i’m seeing lots of videos of empty seats at the theater, the ticketmaster map shows a very empty mezzanine, and grosses are performing at half of the potential.
i’m more surprised that they haven’t already posted closure, but i guess if producers keep throwing money at it...

i don’t have a lot of stories of bad audience members but there is one that always sticks out in my mind.
i went to see the 20th anniversary rent tour a while ago. i had been planning this for about a year with my friend, ever since it was announced that it was coming to our city. rent is a show that’s really close to our hearts and everyone always talks up the first time they see rent, it’s an experience i was so excited to have.
